It's pretty good, like a re-branded HD-DVD I'm guessing (in capacity). I guess they could release dual layered versions as well.
25GB is great. Huge improvement on Wii discs... and so we should expect.
By the way SirLink... epic trailer. Even more epic Zelda logo animation... WOW. Probably the best Zelda logo animation I've ever seen. xD

Fortune Street (Mario Party with finance issues).
This is slightly off-topic but since it's still from E3 I think it's not too bad. I found myself constantly listening to the Zelda Overture from Nintendo's E3 conference and the only real good version I've found so far was the one here from Zelda Reorchestrated. I'd like to get it as mp3 to listen to it on my mp3 player but you need to buy Quicktime 7 Pro to download it from there.
What I'm asking is, is there any way to record this from that player while still having a really good quality? I'm totally not experienced in that area, so I'd really appreciate if one of you guys could help me out here.

Hm? Not sure if I've got the wrong end of the stick, but I just right-click the link in your post and 'save target as', and it downloads the mp3.
That said, I have a good quality version. It's 256kbps, and 7MB. Could always send it.

@Mush: If you mean the video of the presentation, the quality there is really bad because the sound isn't clear at all and very low. That's why I want the mp3 in the link. Thanks for trying to help me though.
@Azuardo: If I try to do that it's telling me that I need to buy Quicktime 7 Pro in order to do that. Could it be that you have that? Would be ace if you could download it for me and send it to the E-mail in my profile.

No problem. PM'd you asking for your email, since it says it's hidden in your profile.
I just saved it from that link, If you want it I'll send it to you.
I'm guessing the Next 3D Mario will be Super Mario Universe.
I wonder how many games will end with the U prefix.
Haha nice.
For Mario 3DS, Miyamoto said they're still thinking about the name, but kind of decided on something, saying the clue is in the logo. So, that will be the raccoon tail.
Super Mario Tale?
Nice ideas here with the Mario games. On IGN they just posted that Reggie said that none of the footage in the 3rd party trailer was from the Wii U and that Nintendo's shares fell by 5.7% to a five year low. You can almost hear the fanboy wars going on over there right now.
Btw, since there's a lot of doubt about the capabilities of the Wii U being better than PS3/Xbox360 I thought I'd drop a little message from a poster on IGN that roughly sums up my opinion on the matter, only better expressed and with more details.
Do you think developers like EA would go on record for Nintendo and make statements like that the system is the most powerful and exciting piece of hardware they have ever had their hands on if it was on the same level or only a little bit more powerful than PS3/360? No. The game engine used in BF3, the Frostbite 2 engine was designed with PS4/720 in mind, and EA stated they are excited to use it on the Wii U. Frostbite 2 pushes the 360/PS3 to their absolute limits, and still doesn't utilize the full capability of the engine. The Wii U is way more powerful based on what they say. It's already running high end PS3 games like BF 3 and Arkham City, Ninja Gaiden 3 etc.As for PS4/720 blowing it out of the water, it's unlikely. I said it just a minute ago, but the Wii U runs all the newest game engines at their capacities. The PS3/360 are maxed out to run Frostbite 2, and that's not even close to using it's full potential. If the Wii U can fully utilize Frostbite 2, FOX, Cryengine 3 and Unreal 3.5, it will most likely be on par with PS4/720, or damn close. Those are the new standard and will be used for a long time. Look at how long Unreal 3 has been going. It's STILL used in games. Batman Arkham City uses it. IT's been going strong for over 6 years now. The same will be true with the new engines. PS4/720 will not be GROSSLY more powerful than Wii U. That would be an expensive option that would be unnecessary.
I read that post ^^ and liked it. There's a load of stupid 10 year olds on IGN (if they're not 10, then their mental capacity is very worrying) that just hate on Nintendo, and call themselves hardcore gamers when they do nothing but sit and complain on the site all day.
But yeah, the share prices falling isn't a shock, it happens quite a lot with other companies.
Zavvi has listed the Wii U for £399.95 and release on 20th July 2012 lol.
Sorry for the double post.

Having a laugh.
A quick little preview of the Skyward Sword demo from Audrey Drake from IGN. It's sounding very, very positive to say the least. Here's a quote that has got me excited the most. The name of the new villain is in there, so I'll edit it out and put it in a spoiler below for people who still want to know it.
Even fighting a simple Stalfos required you to be on your guard. Unlike in Twilight Princess, haphazardly waggling the controller when standing in front of an enemy will not work. In fact, try waggling your way through this game and you'll wind up dead before you know it. As you fight the aforementioned Stalfos, and especially the new villain, you must quickly assess your enemy's ever-changing weak point and strike before they change their stance. All this while the enemy is almost unfathomably anticipating your every attack before you make it.
Another really awesome thing I've read somewhere else which can be seen on one of the screenshots on Nintendo Network. It's not exactly a major spoiler, it's about an attack of the villain but if you want to be totally surprised by it, please don't read.
Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS Just in Idea Stage.
Plus, I've seen the gameplay footage with that boss on GameTrailers, he's very... Charismatic.
I've read somewhere that American 3DS owners can watch the E3 3DS trailers in 3D on the eShop. Can an American cubed3 reader confirm that ?

For future reference, since Azuardo certainly sent you the file already, when you come accross such a quicktime player online, if you want download the mp3 file, if you're a Firefox user, go to the Firefox menu on the top left, and there's a "save as" option in there for saving the whole webpage you're on (using a Firefox 3.x version, that's in the "File menu"). When you're just displaying a mp3 file in a quicktime player as is the case here, it'll download the single mp3 file.

Ack. We're going to need some more dedicated threads for some of these games, especially Skyward Sword, because I don't want to see much more of this game until it comes out.
Someone make a Skyward official thread to put all known and future info in please?
Someone call it so we can get it up.

Of course
I'd make one but I don't want to know everything about the game either and updating the OP myself would expose me to a lot of info I suppose. :/
@Kafei: Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!

Same. I'm more than happy to do threads for certain games and update them, but this is one Zelda I want to know little about. I know enough to know it's going to be damn fine. That's all I need to know.
Clarification on Retro working on Mario Kart
To quote user Shikamaru Ninja on Neogaf
According to IGN Nintendo, a Nintendo interview further elaborated on the "mysterious" Retro Studios collaboration with EAD on Mario Kart. Apparently it was for one level. I am guessing they contributed Donkey Kong Returns Assets.
Mario Kart team making Mario Kart. Retro Studios still working on an undisclosed project. Good day to all.
