Hi Guys,

Are you excited about E3?

I didn't see an E3 thread on this forum, so I thought it would be nice to have a one stop shop for all things E3.

Kicking it off..(nintendo related)IGN has released the official games list for E3 2011 this year -->http://uk.games.ign.com/articles/108/1086456p1.html

I didn't expect a strong showing for the Wii, but only 2 games from third party developers is a bit shocking. I guess this confirms that the Wii is coming to the end of its life cycle and making way for the new Nintendo console.

I suppose once the lid has been lifted, we'll see alot of games being announced for the new console.

In other news, michael patcher ate a bunch of poison mushrooms - having confused them for 1UP mushrooms. Looks like Mario got his payback

Knighty needs to set up an IRC channel.

It's a C3 tradition.

Example of last years - C3@E3. If Knighty is not around to set it up, I suppose we can use the IRC channel from last year? I just tried it out and it's still working.

Yeah I know but I think he's forgotten or locked up in LionHead's dungeon somewhere. Someone else needs to make one, only 2 days left.

Also can we turn this into a general E3 thread? I'm sure many of us would like to talk about Microsoft and Sony's conferences, as well. Having separate threads for each is messy and we usually just keep it all to one thread.

Yeah deffo general E3 thread. Maybe edit relevant links and sites for big games and coverage into the first post.

Such a shame, I was planning to watch all three major conferences live but Sony's is just way too late at 2am. I have to get up not too much later to go to school.

I'll see though, maybe I'll just "take one or two days off", especially since I might "celebrate" a little bit after Nintendo's conference depending on the outcome.

I can't watch Sony's Conference either, and my mate's gutted (he's a big Sony fan) since we have a Uni exam early the same morning.

Nintendo going last for once? Wise move, nothing will be able to steal the limelight from their announcement then.

Where is everybody watching E3? What streams are going to be the best and such? I was planning to hook my laptop up to the telly and enjoy E3 with a cup o' tea!

I usually go on N4G, but I never watch the whole thing since I'm usually late home, not this time though . I think Spike TV is a good choice as well.

As for the other conferences, I'll probably watch them on either GameSpot, IGN or GameTrailers, as those are who I usually use.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, it'll probably be best to watch it on the Nintendo Website.

Haven't launched it officially, but we'll have all the E3 trailers for Wii, DS and 3DS up on our new Cubed3TV YouTube channel next week

I had Nintendo's E3 website bookmarked for a while now, so I'll probably watch it there this time. I might go to IGN for the other two since that's where I watched all of them last year and the quality of the streams was pretty good.

@jb: Very nice, subscribed right away. I was always wondering why C3 didn't have one tbh.

Dammit, I'm gonna be at work for all the conferences. T_T Stupid late shifts. I'll probably watch them as soon as I get home, and try to avoid any news sites until I do so that it's all exciting and stuff when I watch...
Gutted I can't join in the IRC though this year, is always great fun.
