Of course there are rumours, it'd be weird if there wasn't. There are probably rumours that Microsoft is trying to get them too.

Does anyone know the size of the EarthBound download? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
Iirc it's only about 41MB or somethin.
Thanks. I've yet to get a external hard drive, so I'm still trying to conserve system space.

What else do you have downloaded, just out of curiosity?
Do you have the basic or deluxe version?
I personally have a fair few download titles, and eveyrthing is still sitting on the Wii U SSD. That being said, I haven't downloaded any retail title in DL form, only eShop titles, that take up only 2GB max each I guess (with perhaps the exception of Trine 2 which I can't remember the size of, but which I think was a bit larger than that).
So far I don't have any space constraints, however this problem could arise soon.
I'm pretty much in the same boat as Rudy. I have a lot of eshop titles, but have never downloaded a full retail title. I got the deluxe version (32gb HDD) and have used up 19gb of space.
I wasn't so much worried about not having the space for EarthBound as I was not having space for other larger games. I have played EarthBound many times, so if it took up a bunch of space, I wasn't going to download it until I got around to getting a hard drive. I'm not sure why I thought a SNES game would take up a bunch of space, but for some reason I was questioning the size of EarthBound. haha

WInd Waker HD priced at $49.99 on amazon, and has a new difficulty level listed as one of it's features.

I was hoping for a Wind Waker Master Quest.
Well, that lower price is encouraging. I'm still hoping we'll see Pikmin 3 prices. I got mine for €38 ($45 or so).
the new wii u looks great and nice features too.
Really enjoying the wonderful 101 demo, tres satisfying once you learn how to play
So, what ever happened to PROJECT Y2K from Ack studios? That game really sounded like it could be something special, but it seems to have disappeared. I haven't seen news posted about it anywhere.
It's hanging out with Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

Has anyone been experiencing problems with Youtube videos in the browser lately? I have encountered several videos that constantly crash my Wii U. It's very consistent too. Apparently there's something about certain videos that just crashes the U. Only thing that works is a hard reset.
I called Nintendo Netherlands about it, they tested it for me, their Wii U also crashed... but they said the video was to blame. -_-'
I got that too with reading certain videos indeed. The Youtube app (remember that one, which no one uses cause you can't watch videos on the gamepad XD?) however worked for the same video.
Sorry Nintendo, but it's your fault, not the video's. It's got something to do with the browser itself
I also get other annoying stuff, like some videos won't load at all.
We should all send an e-mail to the technical staff of our local Nintendo.
I'm glad you brought this up, it was happening to me last night with YouTube videos It's very annoying because i actually use the browser a lot to watch YouTube vids.
Luckily the other sites i use to watch videos still work though.
The only youtube trouble i've had has been on the youtube app. I can't think of one video that has crashed on the browser, but on the app it happens all the time. This could be because of region differences.
Ok, I got a reply from Nintendo. There have been more complaints and apparently there's a bit update coming tomorrow that should fix it all!
Edit: could it be... Nintendo TVii??? Finally available in Europe?

I'm trying to not get my hopes up but I keep hoping the big delayed summer is coming either tomorrow or shortly after. TVii could be excellent if done right. Nintendo + Sky would be ace.
Wii U update 4.0.0 is out!
The big new features are the ability to play Wii games on just the Game Pad and for automatic software downloads (such as demos).
EDIT: The world clock when you enter Miiverse is a cool addition.

So excited for Pikmin 3 DLC! I love doing the challenge modes.
Pikmin 3 is definitely my game of the year.
Ok.... so Youtube movies don't crash the Wii U anymore. But now I keep getting the message "this video isn't available on your device!"
Anyone else? I hardly doubt this is intended.
Yeah i can't watch anything. Get the same message bloody hell :/
