Yeah same here, I have mine preorered at Amazon. Smilie

Oh in other Zelda news: my Figma Link action figure is apparently on its way! Smilie

Ahh the Link figma.. how I dream to have it someday.
Hopefully it'll be at the MCM Expo next year or something. Smilie

I figured the price would only increase throughout the years, so I decided to get it asap. Smilie I even thought of getting 2, 1 for reselling... but I have no experience in dealing in action figures, so I didn't want to bet on that.

I agree that Twilight princess is cool but Skyward Sword, if the moves from Twilight had been added and even though they are not is still cooler because it is a lot more intuitive and has I think a nicer story line.

How much?

Edit: Seriously people, watch that video, if only for the beautiful music alone.

Wow how come everyone has one of these

It cost me €40 in total I think. €25 for the figure, €15 for shipping from Japan.
Because it's a bit expensive, I doubted about it for a few months. In the end I decided to get it because I used to love action figures. And it's Skyward Sword Link, my favorite Link!

Oh Link you...

(Does linking to FB pictures even work?)

Man if I had money, I so would - been looking for one for AGES!

Yeah same and what is your favourite zelda? I would love to get a link figma figurine and I think so wuld you just for discussions sake.

I really want that Figma too, might have to track that and the amazing Kid Icarus Figmas down this year..

As for my favourite Zelda, that's Majora's Mask. I have to say though, the recent Zelda games are good but I worry that their stagnation will stop the series from ever being amazing again - when did Zelda games stop being about evolving the adventure genre and start being about "staying the most faithful to Zelda"? Nintendo need to start spreading Zelda's wings a lot more and do different stuff with it, so to speak.

I set up Dolphin on my laptop for the first time to replay Skyward Sword. I completed it when it came out in Japan. I had it running through a Wii DV cable on a ~20" LCD TV, so it was pretty sharp and nice. I wanted to try out the European version since getting home but I'm getting some weird interference on my component cables so I decided to give Dolphin a spin, and I'm impressed. Everything looks so clear, and after a few tweaks it is running at full speed at 720p. I'd recommend it to anyone, it's a good bit better than running it through my Wii U.

And Phoenom, I watched that video before, purely for the music too!

I don't like using Dolphin for my 'big' games. I hate that my safe file is just sitting on my PC instead my console. It's also difficult for me to get a set up where I can comfortly sit on the couch to play the game.

I played SS on my Wii and old TV. Playing it on my Wii U and 42" LED TV should already be a huge improvement...

As for my favorite Zelda... I'm really not sure. It used to be either ALttP or OoT. Then I thought maybe MM was better. Then came TP, I loved it but decided it wasn't as epic as OoT.
SS is probably the Zelda game where I was most emotionally involved.
So.... it's one of those. Probably OoT, but I'm not sure until I've replayed ALttP, TP and SS.

I know what you mean, I in general don't use emulators unless I need a screen shot or something else emulator specific. But seeing as I've already completed SS, it doesn't feel as weird playing it on the emulator. I still have my original saves on the European and Japanese versions, so this is just like an added extra to see the game forced into a higher resolutions. And in this case, it works wonders. As for the set up, I use a HDMI cable to my telly,  so it's essentially the same.

Thinking about it recently, SS probably is my favourite Zelda game, with OoT and MM just behind. I hadn't play many games in a long time before SS and it just reminded me how fun and engaging a good game could be.

That is were I must definitely agree what else should happen?

Oh so you haven't played SS what a shame, but I must say that it is one of the more intuitive and emotionally intriguing games of the Zelda series, and trust me I would know I've played every one of them since Link's Awakening.

mod edit, merged the two posts together

@superlink if your interested in collectibles you should look up the darkhorse collectors edition of the Hyrule historia book, embossed cover and gold gilded pages. Also how did you get to put a pic on your profile and I like your pic where did you get it?

Gotta say I agree that it was emotionally intriguing! The story in SS was quite something for a Zelda game, I almost cried at the end Smilie

That one was a bit too expensive for me Smilie I ordered the regular one, personally prefer the sound of green pages to gold anyway!

For roughly four seconds I thought that was Link defending his PSP.

Well hope you find what you like and if your interested in other Zelda news you can go to WiiUdaily or my Zelda 2014 blog.

Hm, interested in that Zelda concert...
