Just an update: I still haven't recieved my Zelda soundtrack. I'm getting kinda worried that I'm not gonna get it. Smilie I know it hasn't been 8 weeks yet, but by Friday it would've been. Dx

I've got another 2 and a half weeks until it gets to 8 weeks for me, and Nintendo never deliver things on time.

iTunes gets the details from a database. Right click ->get track names, then choose the third option and it's all in English.

Now Skyward Sword has a release date, let the timeline/character speculation begin! Here's an interesting one;

Well, we already know it's before the Ocarina of Time, so this link will probably end up with that armour (but brand new).

Plus, the Oocoo are descendants of the sky people, so further connections with Twilight Princess in that sense really wouldn't surprise me. Maybe the Temple of Time will be built, and maybe we'll see the original Deku Tree as a youngster.

How could they set it before OoT? That was the first. Kind of nullifies that game and the Hero of Time.

Why can't it be before OoT? I believe the likes of Minish Cap takes place before OoT too.

Not familiar with handheld Zeldas, so I wouldn't know. Just seems like they're running out of "Ye Olde Time" settings, so they're having to go back a lot further than they intended originally. Why not just have Zelda's world become more modern and go through the industrial age and such? I'm surprised the people of Link's world don't say "God, not another green tunic wearing faggot with a sword. We've had enough of you people!".

lol A more modern Zelda is often requested, and it could work well. Its whether Nintendo would have the balls to go through with it. They took it down the cel-shaded route, but I fear they might not have the same boldness to do something drastic again.

The Wind Waker was an excellent Zelda, and the last true 'original' one. Twilight Princess was mostly a remake of Ocarina of Time. To my mind, there are four crowning achievements of the whole series:

A Link To The Past

Ocarina of Time

Majora's Mask

Wind Waker

My personal favourite being Majora's Mask.

I pretty much agree there, but have you not played the Oracle games? I guess not, as I know you don't do handhelds. But damn, I'd have to say the Oracle games are probably the best 2D Zeldas.

Oracles were fantastic, but what about Minish Cap? Smilie

Minish is definitely great, but I think the easiness meant I prefer Oracles. Although it's one of those again where it might be a case of had Minish come out in place of the Oracles games, it might be reversed. Was Minish easier because I'd gotten better at Zelda and games in general by then?

Although I think I just much prefer the Oracles because of the vast amount of sidequests, dungeons, and all the other funny and cool things that came with it, like the skeleton pirates. I liked the different races too, like the Subrosians and Tokay. Just so many different areas and people, that really took 2D Zelda to a new level.

I like Minish Cap and the Oracle games equally as much. I hope Minish Cap is one of the GBA games we get free as part of the Ambassador Program. I also hope that they release both of the Oracle games on the 3DS VC. Smilie

Ooo, yes. Oracles on 3DS needs to happen, and will, I'm sure.

I will be more than happy paying £5.40 each for them, since I've never actually owned either. (Played them on a mate's GBC) I will also be VERY happy for Minish Cap as part of Ambassador Program, due to my GBA and all of my games for it getting stolen. Never owned Minish Cap either, come to think of it. Never had a GBA at the time it was released.. I remember playing my mate's copy of that too. xD

Ugh, would hate for any of my game stuffs to be nicked. How awful.

For your sake and everyone else's, I hope Minish Cap is one of those Ambassador games too.

Would prefer if the Oracles were released at a cut price as part of the 25th anniversary, or have them downloadable together for one price, or something, but really can't see that happening. Full whack all the way for both games seems likely.
