Decided to get Street Fighter IV. It'll probably come tomorrow, since it's off Shopto.
I'm still waiting for Pilotwings.
I've played SSFIV 3D online for a decent amount of time now. Generally there's no lag in battles, I only had a few instances where I've experienced lag and that probably was only due to my opponent's sucky internet connection.
I find myself using Ryu pretty much all the time. I didn't find any other character's that suit me. I think he's pretty high in the tier list too, so not a too bad choice I guess. I'm still not very good though, my timing is kinda off, I'm still not that used to blocking and I have no clue how to counter-attack while standing up. Anyone can tell me how to do that? I've looked in the manual but I didn't find such a thing. It seems to be the biggest factor in me losing 70-80% of my fights..
While I'm at it, if anyone wanna play, give me a call either here or via a PM. ...Even the most basic messaging system would be VERY much appreciated now on the 3DS.

Btw, anybody noticed those Okami-inspired brushstrokes in SSFIV 3D? Really gives characters and other things that extra bit of style.
gamestation are doing a week deal you get £35 when you trade in a 3ds game.

The worse the player, the better for me. I expect to be shockingly bad at it, compared with everyone else here.

Visually, Pilotwings is one of the most impressive titles in 3D IMO, it's just that the 3D is WAY too much when on high. Maximum it can go is about the halfway point before it makes my eyes go dodgy.
I was keeping a record of errors with the DS to see if the was a pattern/common cause. There was no pattern, but the error occurred over 25 times!
Should I format the old one before I send it back?

OK, I'll just make sure I leave no personal data on it. It also started just black screening with no error message a few times as I was waiting for the new one. There was a thin white line appearing on the bottom creen as well.
your the first person ive seen online with no error and white line yours is really fucked
My 3DS comes tomorrow, totally psyched!

The counter is called a Focus Attack, you can do it by holding down the X + A buttons. You can only take 1 hit whilst you're doing the Focus Attack though. If you get hit again it'll break you out of it. Also you can charge it to 3 levels:
Level 1 can absorb 1 attack but it will not stun your opponent. (Just press X + A once for level 1)
Level 2 can absorb 1 attack and it will stun your opponent making them fall to their knees. ( Hold X + A until you're character flashes once then release for level 2)
Level 3 is the same as level 2 but it's unblockable. (Just hold X + A and the character will automatically release it once it's fully charged.)
My main character isn't Ryu but I'll play against you some time to show you some basic combos with him.
I think the AI in SSFIV 3D is a little unbalanced. D.J just seems to know when you are going to attack and how you do it. I played it on easy and it was still a challenge. Good game, but a few of the AI's are somewhat unbalanced.
My package come from Squidboy, as well as Street Fighter IV.
The Wario plushie is amazing, it's bigger than I thought it was going to be. The T-shirt is also great. Thanks again for them Squidboy and for wrapping them up so well.

That has nothing to do with balancing, just your skill level at present.
I suggest everyone browses on Shoryuken.com, there you'll find good guides for all the characters from pro's.
It's very important to spend a good while in the training stage, and complete the challenges for the characters you use. Learn what the button inputs are for all the special moves, even if you use short cuts to play.
Practise makes perfect. SFIV is all about good timing, good aggressive and defensive play, one is no better than the other in SFV - If your'e getting beat up your rewarded with a chance to make a come back, so always be brave. When playing online it's better to switch 3D off.
@Marzy
That was quick. Glad you got both today.
I just had an online match and it was very good fun. As expected I wasn't very good, but I was pleased that I managed to knock the other players health down to less than half. They mostly kept spamming the hadouken move and I managed to jump it most of the time, so that was pretty cool.

Glad to see so many people here having the game. Looking forward to some awesome matches.
Super Street Fighter IV arrived yesterday. I played a bit last night.
It sucks.
Because it doesn't have this:

h8 Capcom 4eva.
You hate the whole game because it has one track missing?
I really liking this music: Character Select Screen

Got 2 StreetPass hits today, yay for me. :3
online now if anyone wants a game of street fighter
Just had some WiFi matches with Lewis, there were lots of lag spikes but it was mostly ok. Does anyone know how to sort out lag problems? Seems I have more than he usually does.
