Those are some nice sales, a shame my ps3 crapped out on me...T_T

Oh well STUPID PS+ members being the ONLY ONES to get the 50% off deals!! It didn't used to be that way, & that's one of the reasons I HATE SOny's greed.

Have not heard this, and isn't the case for the UK. Don't see why US would be different.

Vorash: When firmware 1.80 is released "sometime this summer."

Anyone here play MW3 on their PS3? I want some mates to play it with.

Edit: Quoted from my post in the 'Best Deals' thread, as PSN deals seem to be posted here.

The Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops map packs are currently half-price on PSN (dunno about XBL). So I bought the MW3 maps for this price. I wasn't going to get them at £22, but at just over a tenner I couldn't turn them down. Got the game itself for a fiver about a week ago. So I have the entire package for £15.

If Grumbles was still about, he'd have eggs over this.

Sega certainly seem to be doing a lot right in regards to downloadables. First Jet Set Radio and now this. Just need Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue now. Smilie

Oh, relevant news I guess. Persona 4 Arena will be the first fully region-locked PS3 game. Hope this doesn't set off a trend.

I was just saying earlier that do SEGA really have the money right now to keep being so nice to their fans.
It's kind of a huge shame to think they'll possibly never make physical/big games from any IP besides Sonic or Football Manager ever again.

Wow thanks Atlus fuck you too.
Maybe you should enable region locking when your European localisations stop being ridiculously late.

It's because they are (financially) in the shitter, apparently. So they've been doing the cheapest thing - porting from their back-catalogue to current digital-distribution services. SEGA just so happen to have a remarkable back-catalogue, and so their recent offerings (ie; the old stuff) is much better than their new games. Sad, but true.

Shenmue.

Yea, that's pretty much what's happening here. I don't care what they do as long as they survive this period.

They only have themselves to blame, they've been squandering money on shitty projects with consistency. The bad decision making is still rife at SEGA, they continue to make games in a very Japanese-like insular manner, thinking only about their native market first and foremost. You simply cannot do that in today's industry - the Japanese are behind on their approach also, not just tech. Why they persist with something like Yakuza is beyond my comprehension, it has very little appeal outside of Japan and costs a ton to make.

They've done good by siding up to PlatinumGames, but that contract is over. I'd like to see another three games if possible, starting with Bayonetta 2.

Smilie

Are they taking a swipe at 3DS or PSP? That's the question. Smilie

You've got no room to cry SuperLink, with the three great Wii RPGs only available to you Brits for the LONGEST time & getting more love from Square than we have in the states I'd say you've been pampered pretty well lately.

That commercial made me laugh, they forgot to tell people that even with both sticks available Burning Skies is still a crappy game. So no having 2 sticks doesn't make that much of a difference...& the 3DS can pull off the second stick with either the touch screen OR ABXY face buttons, so SOny has no real argument there.....fags. They should burn like em too. XD

But in all seriousness how I type is my own business, you don't like it then don't read my post. SOny=So what about sony, there I've cleared up YOUR confusion.

Yakuza 1 & 2 HD listed on SEGA's release schedule for December 1st in Japan.

Hope this comes West and I can complete the collection on PS3. Yakuza 5 looks fantastic.
