Xillia 2 trailer & gameplay
But the main problem with your thinking Martin is that you actually HAVE TO BUY Killzone to get it...which isn't worth it, & unless Zelda goes third party like Zone of the Enders IS...I highly doubt it though your sarcasm is duely noted.
Sony are changing Plus...
There will be 10 games put up, with 3 changing each month:
For the next year, any subscriber will get LBP2, Infamous 2 and Motorstorm 3 free.
1 game which changes from month to month
This month, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Shwdown
Then there are 6 games, 2 of which will change every month:
Warhammer 40000
Chime Super Deluxe
Darksiders
Renegade Ops
Outland
Oddworld: Strangers Wrath
There'll also be Indie games free, as well as all the discounts from before
There will be at least 45 games over the next year.
The US gets 12 games at first, but theirs change completely on a 16 week cycle, whilst the EU will be on a 12 week cycle
Looks like IBM is pulling out of cell manufactureing, for future projects of cell generations.

There wont be a cell 2, but there will be Hybrids.

Told you guys...I new Cell was an unreliable method & here's further proof with a BIG company droping out. I wonder what ps4 will use this time?
I wonder what differences the 3DS version will have (besides the OBVIOUS 3D) since Atlus confirmed this for 3DS as well.
Erm, wha? You aren't confusing Persona 4 with Shin Megami Tensai 4 are you? Because if there was a 3DS P4G I would be very happy indeed.
Oh oops, I guess it was Shin 4. Sorry didn't mean to set off a false alarm there, I knew Atlus confirmed one of them I just thought I read it was Persona sorry.
No prob, you would've saved me the cost of future hardware though.
Well the Vita's got SOME good games on it, get Uncharted if you haven't already.
Saw a week back or so a few on the site bought the game Catherine. I got it last year when it came out and it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time. Has anybody had time to try it out? If you have, whatcha think?
Loved it, Duggler. Pretty much expected it, coming from Atlus, but was refreshing to play a quirky Japanese game again. Lots of funny dialogue. And although minor, the game showing online results of other players' question choices was such a good little addition - that type of thing should be more commonplace.
Glad you enjoyed it Azuardo. It was a game that caught me off guard and was better than it had any right to be. I agree about the online results. Great addition that made you really think about what you were saying. Games like Heavy Rain would benefit from such an addition.
On a different note,
I've had my PS3 for about a year and a half to two years now. It's an original 60 gig model I bought used. I've never had a problem with it, but after playing Red Dead Redemption all Summer I'm getting paranoid. The fan runs a lot more and the air it shoots out is cooler. Can somebody direct me to a tutorial or would it be better to have somebody else open this thing up? I just don't want it to die. My PS3 is a beast and I love it. Is applying that thermal paste stuff all that hard?
Still playing Catherine from time to time, trying not to finish it too quickly, and it's definitely a unique experience. Probably not one I'd play around family members though.
Here's a bit of trivia for ya. Gotta say, I didn't know who the heck he was on my two playthroughs of the game.

I bought a brand new PS3 slim on launch in 2009, I've played the tits off of it. I've taken it with me to other people's houses often. I've run it into the dirt so much that it has lost three of it's feet. Basically, I know what you're talking about.
No, it wouldn't be that hard to put better thermal paste on, etc. However, have you tried simply opening it up and vacuuming the inside of the console? In the (nearly) three years I've had it, I've done this twice whenever it became loud enough for me to feel paranoid.
Each time I opened it up.. dust galore! Literally huge clogged balls of dust. One wonders how it worked at all. Anyway, hoovering the old boy has worked wonders each time. If you have never even opened your PS3 (most people haven't, to be fair), just do that first before you do anything drastic.
If you've never opened it, and the previous owner probably didn't.. my god I bet there's a fuck ton of dust in there. If the previous owner was a smoker, it'll be worse. Seriously bro, just get the top off your machine and get the hoover out. Any money says that you find loads of dust, and that after cleaning it out there's a significant improvement in noise, etc.
I mean, if the air is coming out overly cool, that suggests it's not even getting to the components. Just make sure to be careful with the nuts and bolts and such. I don't know anything about the insides of the fatty, but the slim is kind of convoluted to take apart. I think the second time I just took the top half of the shell off, and the initial shielding. I had a few different glasses to hand, in each of which I kept the unique screws whilst operating on the machine.
If you open it up and find really dense dust (as I expect you will find), then that's your issue right there. Not the thermal paste.
Edit: Oh yeah, on the slim there are something like four proprietary screws on the underneath of the console. To get them out, I jammed a really sharp little blade into them, cutting into the heads. Afterward, I replaced them with standard Philip-head screws (the ones on there are normal length/size, just proprietary heads).
I'm sure there's similar blockages in opening the fatty. Probably just the same screws.

Update:Opened up my PS3 and it was FULL of dust. Wasn't as bad as I imagined, but still bad. took nearly every single part out and gave it a good wipe down. Put it back together and its working just fine. Thanks, Martin!

Did Vincent randomly pop across the planet for a drink or (but then again I'm probably just thinking too deeply into random cameos )

Wow the style seems totally different and really anime

Kills the unique charm of the first one by making it more generic looking IMHO (because yes, anime style in games has become generic now). But to each his own, and surely the gameplay is still solid enough that a change in style doesn't make it any less fun.

Okami HD remaster for PS3?
Really amazing news! What a brilliant year for games already Buying the hell out of this.
How 'bout that? Very nice.
I'm not sure if I'd get it as I really can't imagine myself playing the game without the accuracy and speed of the IR pointer controls from the Wii version and I'm not going to get a PS Move just for that either.
I can't wait to see some footage though...should look amazing! This remaster actually got my hopes up for a third Okami game on
home consoles Wii U with the Gamepad to draw. That would look so beautiful, I'd explode.
