One of the scariest things in SH2 was that you couldn't see what the fuck was in front of you cos of the fog.
Well, yeah! Such as shame, as SH2 in particular is a real classic. They should have just released it as a PS2 Classic on PSN, by the looks of things. It's funny how some of these HD re-releases are amazing, some are a real missed-opportunity (i.e. no real enhancements), and others like this SH collection are worse than the originals. Such a shame.
Have had 2&3 on PS2 for years and haven't started playing them yet ... Been looking for SH Origins and 4 on PS2 as well for a while (which for whatever reason didn't make the HD collection... tsss)
Prey 2 may have been canceled.
Real shame, if you asked me. Looked to be an interesting game, and although totally different I loved the first Prey.
Killer is Dead announced by Grasshopper.
From guys that brought us Killer7, No More Heroes and soon Lollipop Chainsaw. This is gonna be one to watch.
Also, Sonic Adventure 2 coming to XBLA/PSN soon?

Killer is Dead puts you in control of a condemned man and you have to kill the assassin. The gameplay is described as a mix of Killer 7 and No More Heroes. You use a sword in the action parts which is said to be like No More Heroes, but Killer is Dead will have new elements (which we’re waiting to hear about).Sounds awesome. I wonder what those new elements will be...knowing Suda51 it's probably going to be something crazy.
The story bit's been debunked.

Killer is Dead Detailed
Suda 51's latest is about love.A few additional bits about Grasshopper Manufacture's Killer is Dead have surfaced from Weekly Famitsu. The magazine has a first look at the game this week, with a few story details and an interview with Suda 51.
As we reported earlier based off preliminary Famitsu details, Killer is Dead is an original game. It's not a sequel to Killer 7, although it does promise to retain the essence of Suda's past "assassin" games.
The game's main character has a profession known as "Executioner." He goes around the world putting an end to S level criminals. (This description is totally different from our original report, where we said that the game makes you into a prisoner out to kill your executioner. That was incorrect.)
Famitsu has just one vague bit about gameplay. We can expect sword action akin to No More Heroes. However, the game will also have new systems.
Killer is Dead is being developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and will be published by Kadokawa Games. This is the same pairing that is bringing us Lollipop Chainsaw. Famitsu lists Yoshimi Yasuda as executive producer and Suda 51 as executive director. Suda is also in charge of the game's scenario.
The magazine's interview with Suda reveals that planning for the game began at the end of 2009. Actual development did not start until Spring 2011, though. The game is currently quite early. Development of a prototype is either complete or nearing completion. The first draft of the game's scenario has just been completed.
The key words for the game, said Suda, are "Moon and Earth." The main character will visit a variety of places in order to fight his enemies. These enemies apparently have something to do with the Moon.
Despite the mention of "Moon" as a key word, the game is not science fiction. It's set in an extension of modern times.
Other keywords and themes include "Brilliant Game" and "Love." Love is an important theme for the game, said Suda, because the main character has someone he wants to protect, and he's fighting for this. The idea of "How far can you protect someone" is central to the story.
Killer is Dead will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
How amazing does this look? I'm detecting a Welsh accent on that toy creature that comes to life, too!
This is what the next Celda should be like, no question. As much as I'd love a Zelda like the Wii U tech demo, a Zelda like this would be a dream.
Ni No Kuni got delayed till next year.
No Peace walker on MGS HD Vita.
It did, but they can take as long as they want on it for all I care. There's likely going to be plenty to keep me busy in the latter half of 2012.

This has been known for a long time. Probably because of the PSP version
And the fact they probably couldn't fit it on the gamecard.
Well I'm still enjoying my copy of Twin Snakes on Cube. I'm not gonna lie that I'm happy it isn't included in HD Collection, just makes the game that much MORE special like Shenmue & the pure Dreamcast version on Marvel vs Capcom 2!!
Same, IF I had the funds & if this was comming to America I'd rebuy all 3 in a heart beat. Especially if they were released as a "Director's Cut" of sorts with bonus content & included elements that were cut from the original releases.
So what do you guys think of ClassicDefender's comment?

It's towards the bottom of the 1st page, original post was deleted by mods so it's in an italics quote. I know this could ring true for ANY group or organization, but do you think Sony's ranks have a larger portion of these types within them? Especially since for most of them the ps2 was their first console & they've got no understanding or experience for how the industey was before. Not trying to start a fire here, just wondering what the honest, open minded & more experienced playstation fans think.
I'm trying to see what you're referring to, but not sure. Are you talking about the people that freaked out when Square brought FF13 to 360? If so, that's just some fanboys for you. Plenty of people have been pissed off when their fave series gets ported over to the competition or similar things happen. Isn't limited to Sony fans. This is years old talk anyway, so who cares? I bat a blind eye to this type of thing and let people cry over what they want.
I swear Japan & their pervy ads...the whole country is practically Hentai (perverted) though I can't tell if the inuendo humor in European television is worse...
Very nice. My only complaint is that she needed bigger tits. 8/10.
Tales of series talk from producer Hideo Baba
- catch phrase for the new game is "Are you prepared to destroy the world for the girl?"
- this ties into both the story and gameplay systems
- this game will have a more modern theme
- consider this the team's challenge to take the Tales series to the next stage
- Namco Bandai has other Tales games in development besides this entry
- when Tales Studio closed, that studio's staff moved into Namco Bandai
- now members of the Tales team can move to the Idolmaster team, and members of the Soul Calibur and Taiko Drum Master teams come to the Tales team
