There is a hair pin inside my wii, Any solutions as to how I can get it out. I called nintendo and they said it is $60 to repair But I would rather not pay.

Shite - can you see it at all? Might be best to unplug it all and use a pair of tweezers to try and pinch it out.

I thought this was going to be a firefly topic.

Where exactly did you stick it, fan grill, usb port, disk tray?

Don't aggravate the situation.

Less posty, more gamey.

well if I just let it be then I wont be able to play it at all.

Worst comes to worst, vacuum cleaner next to the disc opening, should shift it out.

could that damage the wii any possible way

Im going to probably open the wii up, but before I have to ask, will I be able to put it back together?

My bad. The way you were talking, it sounded like you did it.

Well if you vaccuum it you stand a chance of the pin scratching lenses etc and you need special screwdrivers to take the wii apart. You should just make your parents pay for the fixing as it wasn't your fault, paying is the best option tbh.

Unlucky man, try what jb suggested and try using tweezers to get it out. If that doesent work paying might be the best way.

Well, yeah vacuuming could damage the Wii if you're very unlucky, but if you don't want to pay I'd say it's safer than taking the console apart unless you're rather confident and have done similar things before.

one of my mates fitted a chip into his wii,(TW@) and if HE can take it apart and put it back together, anyone can, just make sure you\'re careful but you should be ok

Do the vacuum thing and if it breaks, pay to get it fixed. I wouldn't open it myself personally.

Pick it up and shake it?

Keep pressing eject...it might spit it out.lol.

Is anyone else thinking that's a marshmallow toasting machine?

WHOA WHOA WAIT A MINUTE!
Didn't we make a General Help Thread for this sort of thing? And why Necromancy?

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

I made the general help thread just after this was created to stop threads like this from appearing, it's exempt.

Mhmm...So this is a time paradox...I guess we shouldn't have killed Ocelot then >.>

But, yeah, I don't know if you could find tweezers thin enough to get in there. Hmm...why not use another hair pin to get the hair pin out, like removing a fish hook with another fish hook?

This is probably the only thing you can do, other than opening up the console. Also, your sig is enormous, sort it out?
