What anime/manga is everyone into?

I love anime/manga, everyone will pelt me with tomatoes when I say this....

I like Dragonball Z as, in my view, the longest running and best Anime series to date. Several others are ok - Tenchi was decent, had a good plot - Gundam was fairly average I suppose.

Don't know many others.

Which ones do you like?

I wish we had more anime in Alberta.... fortunately we do get DBZ! And I suspect DBGT will be coming out soon.... I also like Gundum Wing, but it's only on at like 2:00 AM here. I also like Evangelion even though I've only seen the 1st 2 eps.
As for Manga- Ranma 1/2 all the way!!!!!!!

I like all different kinds of anime/manga! too many maybe. Heres a list of some of them:

Cartoon porn. How can you get aroused from that?

The only decent cartoons are The Simpsons, stuff on Boomerang, and stuff like Spider-man, Batman, The Mask, Ace Ventura etc. on Fox Kids.

Those are good franchises, I really like "beyblade" as it was too repetitive in my view. However, DBZ is still my fave anime show followed closely by Tenchi, Yu-gi-oh and a few others I've seen.

Some anime is hentai, but not all of it. Theres a lot of anime out there thats not like that.

My little bro loves Beyblade.

Erm..... we were talking about the NORMAL anime/manga... Hentai is just sick, in my view.

Anyway, the normal anime/manga usually feature fighting or action themes, love, evil etc - not that sick stuff. Anyway, getting back to the topic.

Street Fighter 2 - The Animated Movie
Fatal Fury
Wrath of the Ninja

The only series that I like are Neon Genesis Evanglion (sp?) and Dominion Tank Police.

I used to watch DBZ but then it got taken over by an American company and then everything was...(try not to insult anyone)erm...well...Americanised in the nicest possible way if you get what I mean. The show lost it's japanese charm.

Now to get my japanese kicks I watch 'Takeshi's Castle' which has to be the best damn show ever made (<- yeah so I went slightly off topic, its not a manga/anime).

I don't like Pokemon. I think it shows the whole intellect of the Japenese community. A craze about pocket monsters. Sounds about as much fun as watching The Tweenies... with the sound down, oh yeah, and you're blind.

Sounds great. Sure, I love Nintendo games, I don't like them as much as SEGA, but SEGA are dead console-wise, so I prefer Ninty. But because I hate Pokemon doesn't mean I don't like Nintendo games.

I've seen the Pokemon cartoon and with these recent 'anime' creations, they seem to have forgotton the concept of ANIMATION. Where the hell is the lip-sync? You know that Tom & Jerry is miles ahead of half of these Japanese animations, and it was made in the ruddy 50s/60s!!!

It really does piss me off. I sit there and my brother spends ages watching these mindless CRAP. It's a waste of his life.

Tom and Jerry didn't speak...no lip sync.
