The Good:
Compelling characters and story; outstanding world and puzzle design; longer than most action adventure games; terrific graphics, from an artistic perspective.

The Bad:
Wii-specific elements feel tacked on; graphics and sound sometimes go from nostalgic to dated.

Ignore zelda. It was reviewd by jeff Gertsman who is a complete cock. Then again, it was the Wii version which does suck..

Heh, he doesn't say he doesn't like the controls...it's just the Wii 'specific elements' that he doesn't, things like a few of the extra areas and such I'd imagine is what he means...which really were tacked on...doesn't remove anything from the rest of the game...so you just get the same game + some tacked on bits.

Well concidering he was the one that gave Zelda "10", one of the only 10's on Gamespot... i think thats a bit of a harsh statement, if anything he would be the one most likely to give Zelda a higher rating than the other staff.

OOT = 10.
Wind Waker = 9.3
MM = 8.3
Zelda : LTTP (GBA) = 9.2

Seems about right to me, but OOT should be more of a 9.6-7

I was pretty shocked also, but to be honest after playing the Wii version... I LOVE it, maybe it gets dull swinging around the controller after a while but other reviews seemed pretty positive about it.

Sticking to my Wii guns me thinks.

Fuck Jeff always overates or underates games, he is the fucken worst reviewer. I thought he was gone finally.

From what I've heard, he's right about the music. It does sound like cheap midi, which is laughable after the quality of the midi in Fire Emblem on the GC.

I'll go with IGN.

Sound is a shame as Zelda is a title that is known for its fantastic music, with so many Nintendo titles famous for there music, metroid, mario, zelda.. You would have thought they would push the hardware of sound and sound itself .

I dont know, I dont dislike that reviewer, he seems okay and i agree with MM at 8.3, i also think Wind Waker should be a little lower than 9.3, so in my eyes hes "nice" to the Zelda series, i cant see him just dismissing this title for no true reason, i guess we will all know come launch .

I'll go with IGN.

I'm suprised about the mucsic i thought they said they were going to beusing orchestrated stuff in this game? Ahwell windwaker was mostly midi and it sounded fine.

Edge gave Zelda 9.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is, in my opinion, the greatest Zelda game ever created and one of the best launch titles in the history of launch titles
