Looks nice.
i miss the cel-shaded version
Here's hoping for the original cast of voice actors for the original gang.

I agree, they almost look worse to the GCN version only due to Cel-shaped awesomeness. But who's gonna care about graphics that much, Wii's getting an RPG within the year XD
I too miss the cel-shaded style, but I'm very happy to see the gang from the last game in here.
Fingers crossed they will be playable!!!
idk why ppl wanting cel-shaded i like how this game looks i think it look better this way
I miss the Cel Shading a lot too, but this still looks nice. I'm still worried it'll ever come down here though.
Maybe you could turn Cel Shading off or on like on Tales of Innocence?
Cell shading was a little over done in the first one imo.

Why does it look worse...is it just me?

nah i agree, its just that the original was so well cel shaped that it looked really smooth, and now that they changed the style they look slightly rougher around the edges and more shinnier i might add
Personally I think it looks better in some ways, but I think the models look more "polygony". I guess the Cel Shading in ToS made it look smoother.
The close ups are the only thing that really stands out as different, the graphics in the battle look very similar to ToS, it's just as Superlink said they look polygony.
This:
I actually think is a really nice screenshot, so perhaps it's just closeups that look a bit weird. It's one of the nicer "GC games on Wii" though.
I'd like to see some more games like Mario Galaxy or Smash Bros though, is in, Wii games.

I agree with you, which is why I like the visuals of this game better. The most notable example is what SuperLink has indicated, it really is a nice screenshot.
Sorry, but I like the characters a lot better then CG. They look almost Final Fantasy, meaning a lot more grown up, not like kawaii-only.
The faces - especially on the men's characters - are great. So for me, graphics look a lot better. And look at the backgrounds: sharp textures and wonderful lighting. Check out bricks ans corroded walls (can you say that in English?). By far great news for me personally. But please, don't think I don't appreciate your opinion, as mine is only that: an opinion itself. cel-shaded-look is great, but we had a lot of cel-shading on Cube. I think they do a great job with this...
I like Genis, he looks exactly like his personality seems to be. And Kratos Aurion is overly cute. So nice...!
/edit: It was not Kratos I did spoke of, but Zelos Wilder. Sorry for misleading you all! I will be penitent...

This game looks awesome. I'm not the "best fan" of the ToS legacy, I have heard about the games but never paid that attetion to them. Even if I don't know the backstories I'll get this game and maybe a little more attention this time .
BTW, the graphics are like FFCC...still, I don't think they look better than FFCC on the GC .
You might wanna play ToS, since it seems this will have a lot to do with the original game
