xeke, these games take a veeeery long time to built up to a state where you actually can show anything - be it graphics, sound or actual gameplay. It's 'easy' to built a prototype, which explains the gameplay, that only takes a year or so. But it looks utterly rubbish, evil graphics and stuff. So something worth presenting to the audience is very, very hard.
Remember, that demo for Windwaker took more people to make then Nibris probably employ at a whole. And Windwaker itself was in development for 4 years. I do not think Sadness will be any smaller in development. Give them time. The only difference of nibris to other developers is, that they announce their games relatively early on.
And I hope they earn a lot of money with their DS games, which only take a limited amount of money and time to make, to make Sadness a really good one. Remember, they have this RPG in development or concept. I saw a small demo and graphics looked not better then N64, because you have to work a lot to make good ones.
/edit: it is possible to built great atmosphere on DS, I played Another Code and was taken aback how lonely and deeply nauseated I got while playind this game. I hope they achieve something similar with this horror game.
Thumbs up, nibris!
