Fancy loading custom home themes on Nintendo 3DS? One homebrew app allows for just that.

Those who have homebrew enabled on their Nintendo 3DS consoles (and haven't updated the official firmware just yet), can access a range of fan-made apps, now including an extdata tool. Created by a homebrewer known as yellows8, the app allows for players to access the home menu's SD extdata (SaveData.dat) and the theme-cache to essentially write custom themes.

Custom themes created so far include Full Metal Alchemist and Harry Potter.
