The latest Miiverse update for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U reveals a brand new stage set within the Star Fox universe.

The "Orbital Gate" stage is exclusive to the Wii U version and re-enacts the defense of the Orbital Gate from an Aparoid missile attack, featuring different craft that players bounce between whilst pummeling each other.

"This stage feels like a ride. It's pretty hectic, so hold on tight," teased producer Masahiro Sakurai.

Hmm - here's hoping they also have a remake of the Great Fox/Coneria stage on the Wii U version as well - definitely a classic that's needed!

At the same time I think they make the Great Fox stage to small, it should be spread out a little bit. The 64 one seemed a bit bigger.
