Shadow, Metal Sonic for Sonic Boom Plus New Trailer

SEGA have released a new Sonic Boom trailer for Gamescom, plus artwork and a release date for the upcoming games.

Sonic and friends are bundling together to take on a new, sinister snake-like enemy called Lyric. Armed with new and old abilities, the prickly possy venture into new worlds to try and once again save the day. It's not a solo outing for Sonic this time, as the blue hedgehog works closely with his allies to solve puzzles and fend off beastly bosses.

SEGA also confirmed the inclusion of two fan-favourite characters in Sonic Boom - Metal Sonic and Shadow.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, for Wii U, will be released in North America on November 18th, and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for Nintendo 3DS will hit on 11th November. Both games will be available in Europe from 21st November.
