Original Toki Tori Flocking onto Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With the success of Toki Tori 2 on Wii U, Two Tribes have confirmed a release of the first game within the next few weeks.

Taking to Twitter today, the studio highlighted how the game would be based on the PC version, presumably adding some Wii U features here and there. No details on pricing, but Two Tribes have confirmed that it won't be the same was the WiiWare release, but at a significantly more affordable price point.

The release of the original Toki Tori follows on from the studio's latest update to the sequel, Toki Tori 2+, which introduces a wide range of improvements, visual tweaks and enhancements.

Will you join Toki in his debut outing in the re-release of Toki Tori on Wii U?

I wonder how the TT2 is doing for them. I'm not into these slow puzzle-platformers, but from what I see, it's a good game. I'm just afraid it's not really appreciated... and that's why it's on sale etc.

But I guess if they're bringing TT1 to the eShop, 2 must be doing fine?

By the way, Two Tribes, if you're reading this: hoi! Ga zo door. Smilie

Awesome! Smilie Definitely getting this the moment it's available. Smilie

I wish Sega would follow suit and release Sonic 4: EP 1 & 2 HD versions for Wii U (with the Metal Sonic lock-on bonus, of course). Smilie
