E3 2013 | New Trailer and Screens for Pikmin 3 on Wii U

One of the bigger releases this year on Wii U is Pikmin 3 - watch the E3 trailer and see new screens inside!

Take command of three explorers and a legion of unstoppable Pikmin creatures as the trio fight for survival on the alien planet. Solve puzzles, gather resources and battle against huge predators to save the explorers' home planet. There are all sorts of critters to meet and use in Pikmin 3, including new new Rock and Winged Pikmin, each having their own abilities and weaknesses.

The GamePad itself is used as an in-game camera - snap photos and share these via Miiverse.

Also new in Pikmin 3 is a frantic multiplayer battle mode for up to two players, plus off-TV support for those who want to go at it on the GamePad alone. Pikmin 3 will be available this August on Wii U.
