Nintendo has announced a brand new entry in the ever-popular Mario Party series, this time for Nintendo 3DS.
As part of the Nintendo Direct 3DS special today, company president Satoru Iwata revealed the first new details on the upcoming portable installment - Mario Party 3DS - which include seven brand new boards, each with their own new objectives.
Despite jumping back to the classic individual movement around the levels, the goal will "change dramatically from each board", with some offering short play and others a more varied experience.
There'll be 81 new mini games to play through, with a handful introducing touch-screen mechanics on the lower screen.
