Rumour: Reports doing the internet rounds this weekend suggest that Nintendo have been distributing free Wii U dev-kits.
Whilst getting up and running on the Wii U has become a more streamlined process with help from Nintendo, it seems the House of Mario might be laying down an increased incentive for certain studios by offering free developer kits.
According to a tweet from Destructoid's Jonathan Holmes, he's heard "more stories of Nintendo giving developers free Wii U dev-kits. Could lead to victories".
Nintendo has yet to comment on the reports, but it true could certain strengthen the currently fickle third party support.
