Aliens: Colonial Marines Wii U Release Down to SEGA

Twiddling thumbs for the of Aliens: Colonial Marines on Wii U? It's all down to publisher SEGA, according to Gearbox's Randy Pitchford.

After the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC release was critically panned across the board and subject to questions about its development, it's left the Wii U version in limbo. With a release for the Demiurge Studios' developed Wii U version uncertain, it seems the decision making is now left in the hands of SEGA.

"We'll see. That's not our call. I think [developer Demiurge Studios] did amazing work. I think it's really cool, but Sega's got to figure that out. We're doing the best we can."

The game was originally planned to hit the Wii U's launch period, which ends in just over a week. Time to get cracking with the Aliens packing, SEGA.
