Nintendo 3DS XL Mario Kart 7 Bundle Powerslides to North America

Racing fans in North America can now grab hold of the Nintendo 3DS XL console with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed in a new bundle.

From December 2nd, just in time for the festive rush, retailers will stock the blue/black Nintendo 3DS  XL combo with the game available digitally for $199.99 - essentially offering Mario Kart 7 for free given the RRP of the XL in the country is the same price.

Despite a slow start at retail in its early months, Nintendo 3DS has continued to perform at a steady rate - now surpassing the GameCube's lifetime sales total in just a third of the time.
