The Conduit 2 Dated in North America on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SEGA has confirmed a US date for the second Wii-exclusive shooter from High Voltage, The Conduit 2.

The developer confirmed the launch date for the sequel as February 15th 2011, promising a richer story with series protagonist Agent Ford along with improved online/offline multiplayer.

It was originally penned for Q3/4 2010, however was pushed back for undisclosed reasons (more than likely competition from Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops and Goldeneye 007).

Are you looking forward to The Conduit 2? Are you a fan of the original game?

No, and definitely no. The only title of theirs that remotely interested me was Animales.

I tried the singleplayer of game 1, but I hated it. I got terrible headaches and nausea, so I guess the framerate was too low.
The levels were boring.

I had kind of the same thing happening to me, but I don't think it was the framerate being too low, but rather the camera movements making me kinda seasick for some reason. But by playing short sessions of it, I still beat the game in the end. And it's true that it was kinda boring.

Hopefully they'll try to improve on all the weaknesses of the first one. The graphics were good and the possibility to customize the controls to your taste was nice, but the rest needs lots of improvements.

Really looking forward to this. The first wasn't great but they seem to be fixing everything with this sequel. Smilie Day 1 for me.

You took the words right from my mouth!

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

"Undisclosed reasons" my foot, they said after E3 that it was to overhaul the online character customization, lol. And they did, judging by the latest previews.
The game looks pretty cool. I think all of the problems that arose with the first game are what made Nintendo loosen up on their online regulations, so those of you really enjoying Black Ops and Monster Hunter Tri should probably be thankful for the first game for at least that much Smilie

They also said that the delay has given them time to add Classic Controller support which is great as my brother doesn't like using the Wii remote. Smilie

I liked the first game, although the single player was a bit boring.

Played online with a rocket hacker once, I beat him 24-9 lol.
