According to recent reports, the multiplayer aspect of the Wii Goldeneye 007 remake will be boosted with customisable bots.
One of the key features omitted from Goldeneye 007 on the N64, but included in its spiritual sequel Perfect Dark were computer controlled "bots" as opponents, or team members, in multiplayer mode. Whilst the feature is now standard for a wide range of first person shooters, it's not been touched upon with Goldeneye 007.
According to The Montreal Gazette (via N-Europe), the new game will have "a wide selection of AI bots that you can customise".
That said, developer Eurocom has on various occasions stated that there won't be computer-controlled bots, so consider this as unconfirmed for now.
