Atlus U.S.A has announced that Trauma Team, its upcoming medical drama experience for Wii, will launch at a newly reduced price point of US$39.99.
The game, which features six different fields of medicine to master and represents the largest expansion of the bestselling series to-date, offers series fans more variety and deeper gameplay than ever before. Whilst there is still no news about the release of either Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 on DS, or Trauma Team on Wii in Europe, at least US gamers will be getting this special treat at a far more palatable price-point.
"Every heart-pounding moment of the full Trauma Team video trailer now hits even harder with the knowledge that the game's vastly increased scope can be had for a decreased price of only US$39.99. Watch the trailer to learn more about how Trauma Team combines your favourite aspects of medical dramas and crime investigation shows with satisfying arcade-style gameplay and now at the attractive price of just US$39.99, tremendous value as well."
- Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at Atlus.
In addition to the full trailer and news of the lower price point, Atlus also released the latest entry in its series of Developer Featurettes, this time starring seven key members of the development staff in a frank roundtable discussion about the design and conceptualisation of the game. The story of each specialty's main character is brought to life through all-new dynamic story sequences inspired by Japanese animation and comics that perfectly capture the raw intensity, excitement, and danger of every heart-pounding moment! Bigger and more exciting than ever before, Trauma Team is the ultimate medical drama.
Expect more Trauma Team information between now and its expected US release date of 18th May, 2010.
