Sexy Speed Highway screens. Just been playing Sonic Adventure 1 as well. Can't wait to play this level!
Do you guys want some Sky Sanctuary gameplay
Yep, it looks great. Glad the stages go on for quite a while too.
Man - now's the time I wish I had a PS3/Xbox 360. Looks absolutely gorgeous! Hope they'll DLC-ify this with additional levels from the Genesis era.
Yeah DLC would be nice. But its also great that this is a full package, rather than those downloadable episodic ones available on XBL/PSN.
I could got on-board with them but I hated the idea of being spoon fed, in parts, something that essentially still qualifies as 'light' content. Generations look like its got a massive bang for the buck. DLC would be awesome later on but for now I'm happy the game seems to be so content heavy.
Huh, a PC version?

Good news. Hopefully the mod community will produce some great things with it!

Sonic 4: Episode II still coming too, minus 3DTV support.
Aaaa that's so cool.
I'll probably get 3 versions then (lol), PS3, PC and 3DS.. mostly just the PC version for the inevitable mod-stuff, but I'm not in a rush to buy the PC version. I'll wait for a sale or something.
As for dlc, I get the impression that Generations won't get any stage dlc. It gets a Casino Night mini-game stage but that doesn't really count.
Wow, those recommended specs O_o, surely it's not that graphically taxing? I mean, my PC is just above those specs, i5 @ 2.66GHz (mine's 3.15GHz) 3GB RAM Mine's 4) and a HD5850 (Mines slightly overclocked). So they really must be pushing it.
Majorly happy with the PC announcement...hooray!
Will probably lag on my aging PC though
A PC version is great news, it could mean the new Daytona USA game is coming to PC also.
I'm getting it on PC so I can play with a real Sega Saturn USB pad.
Sonic Generations will be released for PC in addition to previously confirmed PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, SEGA has confirmed. The game will make its way to PC at retail outlets and via SEGA's partners for PC digital download.
Sonic Generations for PC digital includes Steamworks features such as Steam Cloud, which allows save files to be stored on Steam's servers so you can resume your game progress from any PC. The PC version will also be playable in full stereoscopic 3D and will contain Achievements and online leaderboards.
Sonic Generations will be available from November 4.
Hell yeah, Perfect Chaos.
Why the HELL is Shadow and Silver returning. Good God, they are the worst things to happen to the Sonic Universe. What's next, Amy's dumba** is going to show up as well?
Come on Sega. Just make it Sonic and Robotnik only.
Stages look beautiful though. Can't wait to go back to Chemical Plant Zone and Seaside Hill
I said God damn.
Am reallly hoping that 2012 delay for the 3DS version isn't true. :/

This is second only to Skyward Sword for me.
XBox demo of both classic and modern gameplay tomorrow apparently, PS3 next week
Europe gets the PS3 demo tomorrow whereas the US gets it next week.

Although I guess this won't help anyone :
Sega re-confirmed the game for a November release... On 3DS at least...
3DS version looks pretty ace. Is there any footage of modern Sonic levels yet?

See above! 3DS version's modern Sonic levels have slightly more 3D + Rush Mechanics (boost, homing etc) - mainly side on with some on-rails 3D effectas
I'm really glad they actually remixed Mushroom Hill's modern track, it actually sounds really cool now! And the stage itself looks awesome too.
Definitely much more hyped for the 3DS version than I once was - the whole experience is gonna be beastly ok.
