The online features from what I heard were the only parts missing. Somebody said the Load times were longer, but people on NeoGaf said they weren't. Someone also said the FMVS looked worse, but others said it didn't. I don't know who to believe.

I don't know either, but being a week late (in Europe) as well as having this cloud above the title, cannot help sales.
The online lobby isn't something that could be brought in cheaply, but the rest could be fixed realtively easy, given time.
FIFA 14 Additional Formats Coming Later
Wii U, 3DS & Vita are expected.

Injustice's WiiU support has been shaky from point 1, it sucks that once again, WiiU owners are getting the short end of the stick. Still, at least it sounds like it's getting dlc at all, considering previous statements were made suggesting otherwise.
Knowing EA and Nintendo's shaky relationship, I'm not expecting Fifa14 to arrive on WiiU, but it would be very strange for it to not appear on 3DS considering its success (or Vita considering it's not Nintendo).
More like PS4 and 720...
If they skip Wii U, then that will tell you everything. But FIFA's too big for that. Still, I can see it skipping 3DS and possibly Vita, unless Sony jumps in to push remote/cross play.
FIFA 15 will be the true next-gen FIFA, though, where it'll be developed with the PS4/720 as the base platforms. FIFA 14 will be the opposite.

PlatinumGames have been speaking to Polygon.com
- They're happy with their quality, but not their sales.
- Bayonetta sold less than they expected.
- They're currently working on titles for both first and third parties.
- They're investigating iOS and Android development, and already have prototypes.
-They're definitely looking into art styles that might appeal more to the West, but also game designs that appeal more to the West.
However, they still want to make games that they want to make.
-They have also had several canceled games, including one in a well known franchise that was far enough along that they could have made a trailer.

These Wii U ports aren't making any sense. Games like Injustice and Batman have been said to be worse on the Wii U, and many say its because of the console's power (mainly the CPU). However, Game like NFS: Most Wanted and Deus Ex (which they said they got looking better than the PC version) seem like they could be using a lot of the console's power, and seem extremely taxing on the CPU, are better on the Wii U. We REALLY need to know how this console works.

Plus, the WiiU's userbase is currently too small for it to cause a considerable backlash. A lot of WiiU owners are probably glad to be getting games like Injustice at all; and who can blame them, it's a big title that I'm still half-surprised surprised ended up on the system at all. Methinks most devs haven't been working as closely with Nintendo as say Ubisoft.

This is very interesting indeed, i want to know what this well-known franchise is. Obviously the only Platinum game that would apply to is Bayonetta, but could it have been a leftover game from the Capcom days that was far into development when they disbanded? VJ3? Or perhaps a SEGA-franchise game that couldn't complete funding due to SEGA's financial struggles? I'm sure there are many SEGA franchises that Platinum would have liked to work on.CrystalMushroom said:

It's most likely just lazy porting, most of these games started development before WiiU devkits went out, so the developers had to rush porting efforts without learning the ins and outs of the system in order to meet release-day. I seem to recall the PS3 had some similar issues in its early days.Plus, the WiiU's userbase is currently too small for it to cause a considerable backlash. I highly doubt it's Viewtiful Joe, there's still some bad blood between Capcom and Kamiya. Capcom CEO won't even discuss the possibility of the two companies working together in future.

Pikmin 3 - August 4th in the NA, while in Europe we get: "just a few months".
I'm not happy about this vague shit, look how long people have been waiting for a game that was expected to launch with the console. I bought my Wii U solely to play Pikmin 3 which I thought would be releasing very soon now.
The decent thing is giving a firm release date.
I too am disappointed with all the Pikmin 3 delays, it's like Pikmin 2 all over again.. they should have been more certain of their development ability beforehand.
I really hope Europe doesn't get it later than August.
That update list looks to be excellent, it easily remedies a lot of the WiiU hardware issues.
Makes me wonder what the Summer update will do.

I'm still concerned about the lack of N64 and MD presence in Virtual Console.. actually I'm worried about SEGA and Nintendo's relationship in general especially after Castle of Illusion seems to be system-skipping.

"What I would say about Wii U - and what Mr. Iwata has said - is that the pace of launches has been slower than we hoped. But as we prepare for E3, the pace of launches for Wii U is going to dramatically increase." -Reginald[color=#444444] Fils-Aime
Not a bad lineup, I really hope we get those all really quickly and the releases keep streaming in much quicker than before.
By the way, I thought it was worth mentioning that I saw Mario's Super Picross at the EU NDirect when Virtual Console was mentioned, do you think that implies an EU release?
Oh, most definitely, then. The game was released over here on the SNES and Wii VC anyway. Wasn't released in the US full stop.
Injustice WiiU is getting a patch, presumably to fix some current problems with it. They're not saying what's being patched, but at least the game is getting post-launch support. An indication that WiiU owners may not totally be in the dark with this one.

As far as any official promotional materials go, it doesn't look like GTAV is coming to Wii U. I had given up hope on the game heading our way, but a recent rumor seems to point towards some hope.
Supposedly, inside information points to Take-Two's May 17th investor call as the reveal date. During that call, Take-Two is rumored to have details on GTA V hitting Wii U, PS4, the next Xbox and PC. In other words, it's not just Wii U that's on the cards for GTA V.
If this is true, then this will be the very first big budget GTA game on a Nintendo console!
Same. As long as Rockstar learned from the rubbish GTA4.
