Thanks for translating that! Very Interesting interview.
The following information comes from Akihiro Suzuki, producer of the Dynasty Warriors franchise...
"One of the weaknesses of the Wii U compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 is the CPU power is a little bit less. So for games in the Warriors series, including Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi, when you have a lot of enemies coming at you at once, the performance tends to be affected because of the CPU.
Developing on new hardware in itself was a challenge, and also making that launch date was a challenge. But from a visual standpoint, based on the performance of the Wii U, we knew the game had the capability of having much better graphics than games on PS3 and Xbox 360. Make no mistake, from a visual standpoint, it is able to produce better graphics. So our challenge was to make a higher quality graphics. We were able to meet that.
While the visuals are great, as is being able to improve them, we had to deal with the lower CPU power and how we can get around that issue. Actually, we're still working on that. If you see the demo on the show floor and you try it, you'll probably feel it's not up to the PS3 level. But we're working on it!
For the PS3 it has multiple CPUs and an SPU, so you can calculate the various motions of the characters on the CPU so overall it runs smoothly. The Xbox 360 CPUs are formulated so they can spread out the processing power so things run efficiently. With the Wii U being new hardware, we're still getting used to developing for it, so there are still a lot of things we don't know yet to bring out the most of the processing power. There's a lot that still needs to be explored in that area."
Hold the phone did u say 'better graphics'
much better graphics
Make no mistake ... better graphics
better graphics?
better graphics
better graphics is the most improtant thing about games
the world wasn't ready for better graphics

It just occurred to me, but it would be awesome if they made some part of the Wii U expandable for the future, like they did with the expansion pak on the N64, to help it stay not too far behind the times once the competition comes out with their new hardware.

Yea, me too. I hope they make use of any ext port it has, these circumstances may require it down the line.
And that will split the market in two: Wii Us without the expansion and those with. You can never be sure your game works on your system.
History has shown that expansions are a baaaaaaaaaaad idea.
Some N64 games made use of the expansion pak only to enhance to visuals, but were not required to enjoy the whole game (I know, some did require the expansion pak, but not all), and in those cases, this was a good idea methinks. Anyway I doubt nowadays, with their past experience, Nintendo would make games that absolutely requires a form of expansion to the base console to be played...
Though I have no idea what kind of expansion they could make down the line to improve such modern hardware (we're not in the days of N64 anymore).
Well, extra memory always helps... but from the looks of it, Wii U already has a ton of that. The CPU seems to be the weakest link and you can't just expand that.
The Fucktards at Kotaku spouting the same old trolly shit. I'm a huge fan and was joyous at the news.

I think the whole thing is just hilarious, the meltdowns are always the funniest to read.
The poor guy in charge of the game on twitter got a lot of vitriol aimed towards him
Here's another idiot, Jonathan Swift.

Yeah, that's one reason why I stopped reading kotaku. It's a highly negative and critical culture over there. Plus, when the old writers left, the site's quality went down really fast. They hired a bunch of new writers, and with the exception of Kirk Hamilton, the rest SUCK HUGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I still really like their editor in chief Stephen Totilo. I may not necessarily agree with some of his viewpoints, but he's a great writer who articulates his points across clearly, cleverly, and thought-provokingly. The overall quality going down plus the recent over-saturation of articles (there's like a hundred posts a day!!) were good enough reasons for me to quit kotaku. It was sort of sad, as I've been reading it for like 3 or 4 years. Oh well, like Obi-Wan said to Anakin, "You have done that yourself". Now, cubed3, ign (only for news, nothing editorial wise cuz they suck), and gametrailers are like the only game sites I go on.
Haha, the guy took the time to record something when he was on the road during his work. That's excellent . Love truck drivers ^^.
Bit random but for those who ordered at Expansys i have noticed that the Wii U Deluxe (BLACK) seems to have now been separated from the Nintendo Land version. Its strange because i didnt think it would ship without Nintendo land. Now i know i preordered mine with Nintendo land but just checking through my pre-order it doesnt seem to mention it anywhere. Have you guys also noticed this?
I haven't pre-ordered since I haven't yet got a job, but I would think that it came with Nintendo Land, and Expansys are confused with what they're selling I guess.
Today I've seen
Mii Explore (?)
Endless Ocean
Red Steel III
Trauma Center
Street Fighter X Tekken
Silent Hill: Downpour
Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance
Kirby's Epic Yarn 2
BGE2
Bioshock Infinite
Dragon's Dogma
Doom 4
Kingdom Hearts HD
I wonder...lol
I highly doubt many of these are true, if any at all.
I heard something similar about Kid Icarus Uprising HD too, idk why people take this stuff at face value without questioning its credibility.
I think a few of them will:
Mii Explore (?)
Endless Ocean - very possible that AKIRA have been working on this
Red Steel III - ?
Trauma Center - Seems perfectly plausible Atlus would do this given the controls
Street Fighter X Tekken - Likely, Capcom have hinted a fighter is on the way to Wii U
Silent Hill: Downpour - ?
Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance - PlatinumGames developed, Koijma wants content on Wii U - likely
Kirby's Epic Yarn 2 - The first games success warrants a sequel, I'm saying one is on the way via GF
BGE2 - certainly coming to Wii U
Bioshock Infinite - certain, confirmed a little while ago that work will start only after the PS3 and 360 versions are finished.
Dragon's Dogma - I've asked Capcom's VP a few times about this, and he's remained tight lipped, really quiet like he doesn't want to get drawn. They fucked up with the 360 and PS3 versions - very likely.
Doom 4 - John Carmack wants Doom 3 on Wii U for a reason - very likely.
Kingdom Hearts HD - very likely

I'd say possibilities, but I'd argue with the likeliness of some. Namely BG&E2 to begin with, didn't Ancel just very very recently say in an interview that he didn't know if the WiiU could do what he wanted to do with it?
And I'd also argue with Kingdom Hearts HD, if only because Square seem so intent on having every game as an exclusive and not available to a wider audience..
Did you guys hear about Kid Icarus Uprising too?

I'm taking all this with gallons and gallons of salt, because it's just not like Nintendo to leak so much at once. It seems like stuff that retailers could very easily 'make up' or be misinformed with.
Yep, retailers make placeholders for unannounced games and they get spread like they're the real thing across the web.
http://masseffect.bioware.com/about/trilogy/
Kick in the nuts for Nintendo gamers eh? Makes me wonder why they didn't just wait and release this on WiiU instead, geez.
(also find it funny that it advertises 3 games as 75+ hours when individual Tales games are advertised as 80+ hours each )
Fucking get in. Can finally play ME1 on PS3.

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition
New Super Mario Bros. U
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
Nintendo Land
Sing Party
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper
Darksiders 2
Assassin's Creed 3
ESPN Sports Connection
Just Dance 4
Rabbids Land
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013
ZombiU
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Game Party Champions
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
I'm surprised by some of those games!

Pinch of salt must be thrown at those, but some are more plausible than some may think.
Played a ton of Wii U games, all of them in fact.
Pikmin 3 (loved it), Wonderful 101 (my game of show), NintendoLand, Rayman Legends etc etc.
Also played Alien: CM on PC and helped to kick the Sega teams arse in TDM. I won a Aliens: CM T-shirt and bandana. RE6 is a possibility for Wii U according to the Capcom rep I spoke to, it still needs some support though, Japan isn't sure. Metal Gear: Rising is a posibility down the line also...what a game that is! (TGS build). It could work very well on Wii U, the slicing mechanics seem made for the touch pad, PS3 controls for it are slightly cumbersome imo.
