There might be nothing shown that's Wii U related at that conference but... might still be interesting to watch :
EDIT: The Avengers coming to Wii U .

Rayman Legends is 2.5D and looks pretty damn awesome.
Wonder what happened to Ghost Recon Online for the Wii U?

I want a new IP from Nintendo. Not a rehash of old characters or ideas. I want new characters and new games. I mean seriously, when was the last time they genuinely had a new IP?
PullBlox, Dillons Rolling Western, etc...

Xenoblade then, it's owned by Nintendo, made by a Nintendo first party (Monolith soft).

Ah I forgot that. But alas, I can't stand JRPG's one bit. I dislike almost everything about them. So for me still no new IP!
Well that's quite harsh, not liking the genre means the game doesn't exist.

Idk maybe cause it's late, but this controller makes me think of the sega genesis controllers. Could be the analog placement too. I look forward to getting my hands on it either way.
Stulaw said:Is that confirmed? I've thought they were 3D graphics (polygons instead of sprites) since that first leaked trailer, but nobody wants to believe me.
Rayman Legends is 2.5D

Well, I'm not quite sure, but yeah, it looks like 3D models, so you were right.

Hm, they still look like 2D sprites to me, just the shadows and extra detail give off a more 3D look. But hey, could be wrong.
I need Star Fox, to be very happy.
Actually yeah, it could be like a super Mode 7.
TWO GAMEPADS
Hmmm. That wasn't a particularly brilliant presentation. Apart from Pikmin 3, when are people going to get sick of the Mario Bros games? It's becoming a yearly thing at this rate...
I really expected more. I still feel no need to buy a Wii U. Pikmin looked great, and the rest generally looked solid. But nothing looked truly exceptional.
Nintendo needed to hit this out of the park, and they swung and missed.

Agreed. That conference was plain boring. I'm sorry to say that not a single thing they showed excited me.
Yup, very disappointed. Still nothing to entice me to get one at launch.
Why did I stay up for this?!
Pikmin 3 looked really nice! But otherwise everything else was pretty meh, I was expecting Nintendo to at least announce 1 AAA first party title (NSMB does not count). Nothing really impressed me. Hopefully we'll get to see more during the final few days of e3.
*realized i should have posted this on the e3 thread LOL*

In the last couple of years we've had: NSMB, NSMBW, M3DL. Now we have NSMBU and NSMBG.
Stop please Nintendo and give us more of your other IP's!
