Just out curiosity, could you get the new Pokemon from HH&SS with Diamond as well as Platinum. Because if you could then if someone could not get it because of the stupid code you could just transfer one of them over to a friends game?

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at here (it makes no sense)

But I will say that the Arceus code is one code per person, and you can get it on Diamond, Pearl OR Platinum

So as long as you're there and you have a 4th gen Pokémon game, you can get one.

They do that kind of thing all the time for events, you missed the WiFi Shaymin and Darkrai events completely.
The Pichu is for a HG/SS Event, I told you this already =_=

Buy all the Pokémon Ranger games, also Nintendo will probably keep doing events for all the old Pokémon next gen.

In this gen there's already been events for Mew, Jirachi, and soon Celebi and Deoxys... not that any of these events will ever come to UK.

Actually, it's pretty easy if you have a sibling or parent who's willing to help and 2 versions (most people either have Platinum & (Diamond or Pearl)). Just go in with the version you have, download the Pichu, go back, change versions and give it to someone trustworthy and willing to assist, and you've got your 2 Pichus.

This is about the Movie Arceus not the Pichu, but yeah I might get a parent to go in with one of my versions Smilie

What good are they if not for bragging rights though? And what good is bragging if you cheated to do it? I used to cheat, but I quit, because I just didn't see the point in it. That "awesome feeling" you get from a legit just doesn't exist when you cheat.

I'd rather wait to get the legit legendaries than cheat and never even try. I've still never had a legit Jirachi, Arceus or Celebi.
It's not a matter of "forgiving", you just can't cheat to get a legie and treat them like they're legit.

Bragging rights? No; for me, it's collecting. The way I see it, the events are already programmed into the games to activate the islands to get those legies. The only thing half of these out-of-game events do is give you a key item that activates a tiny amount of code to allow the code to work. It really doesn't matter to me how I get the key item; but it does matter if what I catch is official, and that I catch it without any catch-assistance cheats. If I go to an event like the 10th anniversary event and get a Celebi or if I have a friend with the Colosseum bonus disc, it makes it all the more special.

And personally, I'm not a big fan of having multiples of the same event legie. Maybe I'll restart Emerald and get another Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, etc.; but I don't like taking the time to get a bunch of Arceus with Spacial Rend, Roar of Time, Shadow Force, and Judgment.

I'm definitely a collector too, but if I've cheated to get it then it's worthless.

Cheating to get a key item is still cheating, and the Arceus key item has never even been given out before.... The Ho-Oh and Lugia events in FR/LG/Emerald never even came west, so those are "definitely" fake too.

Downloading from a Nintendo event is more legit than catching them with your own ability, assuming you cheated to get to that location.

So anyone with an Arceus with a matching OT to them is a cheater, easy way to tell really.

THe Mystic Ticket to get Lugia and Ho-oh was given out in the US and the UK. I can remember it because I forgot to go and missed out.

So did I, although I cheated to get to the islands back then too.
I deleted both my Emerald and FR files to remove any traces of cheating though Smilie

I planned to start FR again but I got so into Emerald that I never got round to it.
