When Brawl first came out I hated Lucas for threatening to replace Ness, or even for making us think he may replace Ness.

As it turns out I much prefer Lucas, I love his D-Smash and his U-Smash, and his air game is pretty great too, as well as his PK Fire's knockback.

Ness is better than he was in Melee, much better, but it wouldn't hurt to make him a little better than he is now IMO.

Yeah, but they just slowed down Ness dair in brawl, imo. It was a little bit faster in Melee.

I prefer Ness over Lucas as Lucas cannot really approach well enough as Ness. He can push back people though.

Lucas

1. Has a fast PK Freeze attack.
2. Has deadly Up Smash and alright Down Smash.
3. Has PK Thunder which can be used for a Smash Ball chase (works; makes my brother mad mostly).
4. Has good aerial attacks.
5. Has a Tether Recovery and Grab in okay range.
6. Has PSI Shield which does not cover his body, but does damage.
7. Has straight ahead PK Fire.
8. Has alright Smash attack.
9. Has typical patterns, but strong Final Smash.
10. Has bad up aerial attack.

Ness

1. Has a slow, but strong PK Flash attack.
2. Has weaker Up Smash and Down Smash.
3. Has PK Thunder which is faster, but can be intercepted easily in recovery.
4. Has alright aerial attacks.
5. Has a bad Grab range.
6. Has PSI Shield that will encompass his body.
7. Has directional PK Fire with multiple hits in one.
8. Has great Smash attack.
9. Has small, but fast and not as easy to predict Final Smash.
10. Has good up aerial attack.

The fact that the shield doesn\'t cover Lucas\' entire body doesn\'t matter since he still recovers health like Ness and regains a larger percentage than him also. Their final smashes work like this. Ness\' FS is strong, but is easy to predict and comes out in a fan shape focusing more towards the sides of the stage. While lucas\' FS is weaker it has speed and focuses more on the center of the stage.

Nonononononononononono I think he might actually be the best character in the game

Using his C4 and his explosives tactically makes him really unique, and he has an amazing F-Tilt. His Fair is also a really good Meteor.

EDIT: Shittest in the game is Yoshi by pretty far if you ask me. All Yoshi has going for him is his uair.

not to mention snakes basic combo attacks are able to KO.

Snake isn't amazing he's just way too strong and R.O.B is cool (G&W is meh).

Snake's the best character in the game. Everyone knows it.

Nah. D3 is the best character in the game.

Chain grabbing, spammable projectile, Great range and priority on most of his attacks, Bair and Fair can kill easily, so great edgeguarding, some of the best recovery in the game, hard to kill due to his weight, and a good chunk of his attacks can kill at below 100%

Plus, he's a self-titled penguin king with a fucking hammer. Need I say more?

D3 for god tier.

Snake is basically Ike, except with doggish moves that take no skill to use. Sorry, but in my experience, people use snake just for his side-b and up smash attacks, and it just frustrates me.

Bottom of the current Brawl tier? Well at the moment it's Link and Yoshi and has been for a while, of course this tier changes every few days (since all it is is tournament data really)

Don't forget Samus, she has to be bottom tier.

No she seems pretty mid at the moment, just behind ZSS.

Like I said this changes all the time, because last time I checked Samus was mid-tier and ZSS was low tier.
