Not really, I can't control a character with a right analogue stick... I've grown up controlling a character with the left analogue stick

I've only just realised how funny that is, because I grew up controlling a character holding a stick in my right hand, using these (I still have the exact same joystick) :

And even trying it now, there's no way I could control the action on screen holding the stick in my left hand, despite being used to it so much on modern consoles.

Not really, I can't control a character with a right analogue stick. The only way it'd be playable for me is to have dual analogue stick controls, but Sakurai didn't want that, as he said aiming wouldn't be as good.

Basically it's unplayable, so sadly I won't be buying it.

It's not unplayable, in fact it's a lot easier to adapt to than holding the stylus in your right hand. I should know I've been trying it myself.

Marus Mission, a Jaleco GB Platformer is on it's way to the VC.

MK3DS really hurts to play. Holding down the L button for extended periods cramps your hand, likewise with A and Y.
I also can't find a decent combination of Kart that can easily stay ahead of the competitions. I've seen Karts with worse stats than mine overun me at the start.

Also, I hate the coin system. I disliked it in Super Circuit and I hate it in this. Makes the game really unbalanced as even though you can only hold 10 coins, it means the rich get richer and pull ahead of the people behind who need it more.

I haven't found any of the tracks particularly memorable either - sick of seeing Wuhu island all the fucking time as well, its just Lazy, like Forge world on Reach.

Zhu Zhu Babies bargain price! Only £73.95! Men in Black for the same price! Cheap as chips!

Further points to that Last Story LE being a misprint, surely.

Must be then, I wouldn't have thought that it would've been over £50.

Has this already been discussed?

mynintendonews.com/2012/01/20/nintendo-is-preparing-nintendo-network/

Nintendo Wifi Connection has been changed to Nintendo Network, which is also on the MK7 boxes (I haven't got MK7 yet, so I wouldn't have known).

It's not on the MK7 boxes but in the (UK) game it says "Connecting to Nintendo Network"

Strangly though US copies will just say "Connecting to the Internet"

I'm guessing it's just a rebrand of Wifi connection (no 3DS games have this logo), who knows maybe it's to emphasis a more unified network and eshop between the 3DS and WiiU? *shrug* probably not but it would be nice.

It's a separate new network, MK7 users have been using it.

I registered 2 games over a week ago but have yet to get Kid Icarus 3D classics. Does it take this long?

You have to click the 3D Classics: Kid Icarus thing on the Club Nintendo website. It will redirect you to the Nintendo 3DS Rewards Scheme (Or whatever it's called) and ask you to enter your email address. Once you have entered your email address, just wait a few days for Nintendo to send you the code in an email. I know this because 2 of my friends were late with registering their games and stuff. I got my code on the 5th, when all the other codes were sent out to people who registered for the rewards scheme early.

Hope I helped! Smilie

When two eligible games have been registered, a message will appear in your Club Nintendo account. You will be asked to confirm an email address to which we will send the Download Code for the title

Where do I receive this message as I'm on the website logged in and can't see anything?

EDIT: Wait, I've found it!! Thanks Mush! Smilie

There is nothing really different about it though.

Theatrhythm has it on the box, so I thought that was what Nintendo are calling there online service now, so it'll be on the Wii U as well.

How do you know?, the site hasn't even launched yet, MK7 is simply running off the new servers, the full service hasn't yet been fully integrated with 3DS.

The Nintendo Network site will launch later in the year and is said to provide features akin to XBL and PSN, you'll be able to access both your WiiU and 3DS accounts and buy games straight from the site, your handheld and console will be able to download them automatically in sleep mode.

UPDATE: Our source saw the article and wanted to make sure that people understood that he didn’t mean necessarily that Nintendo’s service will be better or feature every single detail that Sony and Microsoft do, rather that until now Nintendo hasn’t even tried to compete but now they are going to create a service that is in full competition with the others. But of course, each one will still have their own style. However, he had one other detail to add: “What I can add to all this is that there is in fact one feature that is significantly ahead of one of the competitors, and I’m not talking about the well know ability to video chat. A few users on another console will be quite upset.”

Please, please let that be streaming the game you're playing to friends. Smilie... What, a man can dream, right?

Anyone else find the 3D in Resident Evil Revelations to be crappy? It's the only 3DS game I've played where I prefer the 3D to be switched off. Smilie

Did you change the 3d settings in the options? You can choose between Normal, Strong and Very Strong. I have mine on Very Strong and the 3d looks awesome.

Well they could have done all that stuff and kept the Wifi connection name, so it's just a rebrand in my eyes.

How is a completely different system simply a rebrand, Nintendo Network appears to be fundamentally new. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is built around the meagre online abilities on Wii and DS, it is simply an online connection service. Nintendo Network is built for 3DS and WiiU, it's a user community service allowing you to track, buy and download content from anywhere with a connection, you have your own account, you contact friends, and check friends community pages for games.

To anyone with an internet connection via the web is my guess.

I reckon Windows 8 will allow this via the web though, allowing 360 users to stream their game content. I'm guessing it will have sleep downloads from the web too, just like WiiU could.
