It's not too bad with the naked eye, photography doesn't do it justice. The location didn't help though (huge Atrium with skylight). The other games that were in darker areas were easy to see, but I couldn't take photos in those places, because the hostesses would see. RE:M was tucked away out of sight because it's 18 (M) rated.
Kid Icarus was just awesome, the quality of the graphics were lovely to bare witness to. Sakurai Nintendo Quality.

How did OOT play? Does it feel exactly the same as the N64 version? Like, does Link move and control just as he did in that one, any slight adjustments been made in swordplay etc? Any word on Master Quest definitely being in (I'm still not sure I 100% believe that one video on youtube).
He moves better with the Circle Pad. Sword play is done with the B button, while the left shoulder button it target lock. It works as well as it did before, in fact it does feel tighter slightly. Master Quest is definitely in according to the rep I spoke to.
Shame Starfox wasn't there.

Lovely. I originally said a few months back I wouldn't get a 3DS even with OOT as a launch game, but after seeing more of the game I just can't seem to resist it. I have 3 copies of OOT already (64, WW bonus disc, Collector's Edition), but I think I'll cave in. I think Master Quest is the deciding factor though. If it wasn't in, I might not be as eager for it.
Hopefully there'll be a good bundle when OOT3D comes out.
I seriously hope MM gets the same treatment, and (I know this is pushing it), but maybe even Wind Waker? If not, then hopefully a brand new Zelda in WW's cel-shaded graphic style. I really hoped we'd get another cel-Zelda on the same level as WW, but we haven't. Nintendo said a while back it's likely that realistic Zelda will be on consoles, and toon Zelda will be on handhelds. Hopefully another WW-style Zelda comes to 3DS.
I have a £20 hmv gift card which I got for my birthday, as well as £25 in game rewards, so I'm going to be heading up town to grab a couple of games on release day.
I'm hoping Shopto will offer some form of bundle though, when I ordered it, they had the cheapest price but now everyone else has brought their prices down in line with it. HMV have the console and a game for £209.99. But shoptos forum is down, s I can't ask there or see if anyone else has asked.
Also, not sure Shopto will send it early. They're using a one day delivery service. Although Play did the same and I got MGS4 a day early

Damn, ah well, I'm more than happy with shop-to's service. Still trying to decide what I'll get with my console. May just go for something like Nintendogs in the end. Not sure yet.
187 pounds? Damn, I'm getting really jealous right now. German retailers apparently don't feel like battling it out, so they all just settled for the golden 250€ mark, with a few demanding ridiculous prices like 315€ which is the highest I've seen it for so far.
It's really stupid because they know that the demand is there, so they don't have to do anything special to get their units sold. I've also read that Germany apparently only gets a very small amount of units at launch so it's even worse.

Iwata: Well, I feel that I've started to understand, little by little, what makes Ocarina of Time special. Of course, the Nintendo 3DS version of Ocarina of Time is crammed with interesting things that weren't in the Nintendo 64 version, but we'll wait to talk about those the release.
Miyamoto: Right (laughs).

Basically confirms new content which is good but tbh Nintendo remakes always get new content.

I wouldn't hope for too much content in OoT. I'd imagine a few hidden easter eggs, maybe a few subtle alterations, a new item or two that doesn't play into the main quest and some new characters around the map - but I don't think it'll be anything that significant.
Hope I'm proved wrong though.

Much like the Wii and Twilight Princess (which was a game never really meant for the Wii) - I feel like Ocarina of Time is something that everybody will love to have on the 3DS, but at the same time - I wonder why the hell there not working on something designed specifically for the system straight away.
In other words (and I'm sure this won't happen, because the life expectancy of the 3DS is too large) - if Ocarina of Time ends up being the only full-blown Zelda title on the 3DS, and we miss out on an incredible original as a result, I'll be kind of annoyed.
I guess finally we're getting Skyward Sword on the Wii. But part of me feels like it's coming too late in the consoles life-span to be a huge success (OoT comparable).

I'm expecting too see a new dungeon that wasn't included in the original game, due to memory constraints.

Oh yeah, I vaguely recall hearing there was cut content in Ocarina of Time on the 64. Damn, that'd be sweet!
