Perhaps, but I doubt that Kojima would release such an important title to him on a system that couldn't take it. It's just not the kind of thing he would get behind, especially as he personally did not support the decision to bring MGS2 to XBOX.

With respect, you don't know the ins and outs of the mind of Hideo Kojima. He may very well see it as a grand idea, regardless of a potential performance issues, or may not have much to do with it, or any degree in between.

Also it's good to keep in mind that this is a first gen 3DS game, whereas MGS3 was a mid-late gen PS2 game.

I know, and I'm already supremely impressed with it. I'm just not sure about all the 'as powerful as Wii!' things. It's certainly powerful enough for what it is, of that I'm sure. Will it play regular DS games? I assume it won't reinstate the GBA compatibility?

Ooh a long video of Zelda goodness!

Fair enough, but he seemed awfully positive in his interview about it.

Neither am I, but I think it has a fair shot of being more powerful than the PS2.

And yes it plays DS games, they fit in the same slot as 3DS games. However GBA playback won't be returning :/

Has this been touched on yet?
They had booths at E3 for them.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

I'm watching that Zelda video right now, looks much better than what Miyamoto showed.

Can I just say that if the music in the background is from Zelda, I like it.
I also want to say that I think it looks frigging gorgeous compared to TP's blandfest.

Good day.

Also want more info on this.

The new Zelda looks good, although I don't think the demonstration went that good. It looked like it didn't react that good. But, that might of just been some flaws. Hopefully I don't have to deal with that stuff when I get the game. xD

Dont worry people who have played it on the show floor have stated controls work perfectly

I'm looking forward to seeing what the surprise 3DS game announcement is. Even if it's just a trailer for Ocarina of Tine 3D, I'll be very happy.

New Skyward Sword footage, high quality

I still think it looks absolutely wonderful, and seeing some proper high quality gameplay has only solidified my optimism.

Those worried it will be too cartoony to be sinister will be glad to see that the darker atmosphere of the Stalfos fight at the end shows the cartoony style can work in lots of scenarios, and I'm sure we haven't seen anything yet.

The sword combat from that video looked awesome.

So the return of Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi aren't that big a deal, eh?

Well a lot of us (me included) have known about the DC classics thing for a while Smilie

Eh? Really?...Wait...was there a thread on this?

New 360 design. More details here.

Finally a reliable 360? Damn good news that it's quiter, too. 360 needs that, bad.

Thanks for telling me, thats good to hear. Smilie

I'm hoping they buff out a few things between now and launch when it comes to the new Zelda, one thing being the way the sword is held by the character. There's no reason to it, but Link holding the sword real far out bugs me, even though it probably matches what the player is doing.

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

Nope, it was mentioned in the Shenmue III Decade Thread.

Which is the case yes.

Yeah, the DC games things has been known for a while but I was hoping for some extra news bits about it too. More info on what exactly we're getting when it comes to Sonic Adventure would be nice.

As for Zelda, I'm not worried about the cartoony style at all. The Wind Waker was a dark game in lots of ways - one of which was the story. This combined WW/TP style is brilliant.

Also, am I the only one who immediately thought about Majora's Mask getting the remake treatment somewhere down the line after the news of Ocarina 3DS? Please, please, please.

No I thought about it too, but my constant pessimism in regards to Miyamoto have gotten me into thinking he won't waste time remaking it because he didn't make it so if it were up to him it wouldn't exist.

Could be right, SL. It's not his game, but I'm sure there might well be high demand by the time OOT3DS comes out for it, so maybe. Would be nice.

3DS Code 2578-3122-0744

A few story details on Resident Evil Revelations
Those worried about it being filler or a remake can breathe a sign of relief, as it most likely takes place after RE5.

I'm not sure you could call it RE6 though, otherwise it would probably be titled as such.
