I've posted a video above...

The 3DS enhanced versions of Ocarina and Starfox 64 are just that, they're not a showcase of the 3DS graphical limitations :/. They are a showcase of how well 3D based games can control on 3DS, which is very well by all accounts. Nintendo are releasing them because quite frankly they don't have the resource's to be working on multiple new projects, - newer versions of Stafox etc. But they will come on the repeated success of these N64 classics. Most these games aren't even solid yet, some will need another year at least, but at least we'll have some cool games at launch, including Animal Crossing which is said to be pretty awesome - far better than the shoddy Wii game.

I'll say, I hope we get some new tools and such. Visually it's the biggest change we've had in the series for a while. Taller characters, slightly more interesting landscapes, etc.

Nintendo seem to be working on so much stuff right now, thank god they have Sora and Retro by their side to help churn out those extra Nintendo franchises.

Plus remakes of Lylat Wars and OoT mean they can release more games the fans will love, whilst saving their teams for making new games.

Oooh right at the end, new stuff today!
- More DKC4 stuff
- Aonuma and Miyamoto are announcing another 3DS title, but it's probably OoT3D.

That's the best chastity belt I've ever seen! I mean, it has a 3DS attached to it! Smilie

ONM's got new info
Design isn't final

ONM reckon it's around Wii power, but they put it in a retarded comment like this:

No specifics yet, but the Kid Icarus clip we saw looked comparable to a Wii game.

Sorry, Kid Icarus compares to a PSP game, not a decent Wii game.

The new system also has full Wi-Fi. New game content will automatically download to your 3DS without you needing to do anything, even if you are not playing a game.

Sounds similar to the description given to WiiConnet24, and we all know how amazing that turned out. Smilie

ONM just took all that info about not being final design off the Nintendo E3 site and added in their own stupid comments. Smilie I hate ONM despite still collecting it (though I don't pay for it Smilie). The writers are such fanboys.

Need proper 3DS gameplay footage. None of this "move camera around" crap.

They're clearly remakes, not ports. Looks quite a bit better visually.

Still, I'm not convinced the system is at Wii levels of power at all. strangely the Starfox shots have anti aliasing though.

Yep it's using 2xMSAA. GC didn't even do that.

Watching the video Squidboy posted, I still can't believe that conference conclusion, when hundreds of girls came from backstage with 3DS' attached to them. Chris Reggie, where did you find so many young girls to deal with the nerds for you? He must truly be a master of the opposite sex.

Just thinking about how awkward it must be for some of those guys and girls. The guys are only doing their jobs afterall... Smilie

The cameraman seemed to drift towards the 3DS girl at one point. Smilie

Lest we forget amidst all this 3DS excitement:

Awesome!

That looks shower. Obviously it's a cam video of a small screen, but it looks on par with the PS2 original from that. Better than PSP. Impressive.

They shouldn't touch it. OoT n00bs should have to bare the brunt of the full Water Temple like we all had to! Besides, it's not even that hard if you just use your brain.

So Nintendo finally decided to let the overflowing bag of awesome finally burst after that short downtime, eh? I'd say good tactic. They're definitely selling 3DS like this. I predict easily double the amount of sales for DSi and DSiXL easily.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

- He was very unhappy about how the Zelda demonstration went

Is this because he repeatedly failed at doing the 'return octorock projectile' thing with the shield?

As for the 'power' of the 3DS, I think some people are being a little bit too excited. Based on what we've seen, I'd place my estimate at around PS2-level. Maybe slightly less. Yes I know, MGS3 is running on it, but we've only seen how it handles that one bridge area with no goons or anything. It could well end up having worse framerates and such once everything is in place.

For now - impressive. Once they have some real gameplay of all these titles up, we'll all be in a much better position to judge. Once again Nintendo are not releasing actual hardware specs, so we'll have to wait for a modder to get hold of one, open it up, and test the shit out of it (as they always do).

Which in turn was caused by wireless interference from the crowd.

Here are some images to sum up Nintendo's unexpected triumph this year, from our friends in the internet.

He's said he plans to do another demo at one of Nintendo's media summits. But I think we'll see a recorded video demonstration before then.

Perhaps, but I doubt that Kojima would release such an important title to him on a system that couldn't take it. It's just not the kind of thing he would get behind, especially as he personally did not support the decision to bring MGS2 to XBOX.

Also it's good to keep in mind that this is a first gen 3DS game, whereas MGS3 was a mid-late gen PS2 game.

I'm hearing that 3DS is to GameCube as DS was to N64. It does some things better than GC, other things worse. The processing power is supposedly similar to Wii, but the GPU less powerful.

Looks extremely impressive and I want it now.

EDIT: It can use shaders more easily than Wii, too, I think.

Yeah to be honest I'm more excited about TAG mode being built into the system so you can leave it on and do other things with the system
Rather than relying on being built into a game, then hoping someone has that exact same game on tag mode.
