Very good conference.

Nintendo got right to work showing off Zelda, and I personally love the style. Its a fusion of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. I think it could dip a few more degrees to the Twilight Princess side, but it looks beautiful. Unfortunately, the game did not look like it played well. We'll have to see some hands-on from the show floor, but the controls looked awful. I also wish they would have upped the "epic" a bit. It was genuinely amazing when Nintendo showed off that Twilight Princess trailer in 04, but they really went a different route here, focusing on the controls. And as I said, well, those didn't go so well.

Besides Zelda though -- which I'm still excited about -- Nintendo showed off a huge amount of great looking games. Golden Sun finally reappeared and looks great, and Metroid: Other M still looks promising. Donkey Kong looks amazingly awesome. Got the audience excited. I just wish Retro was working on a new IP...Kirby also looks fantastic, which surprised me, as I had little to no interest until they showed the trailer.

The 3DS is about what we expected in everyway. Can't say there were any surprised relating to the hardware. I even suspected a while ago they might include two cameras to take 3D pictures/video. All the same though, it was good to finally see it out in the flesh. I have some work to do on the 3DS thread now.

It was also amazing to see the developers working on the system. Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Kid Icarus? Lots of gamer's games. Good sign. I just wish we could have actually seen them...

Holy shit @ all the 3DS games. Nintendo's conference was just brilliant.

And the weirdest thing? No Vitality sensor, and absolutely no mention of the new Pokemon games. Almost as if they didn't need to show them.

I hope the D pad doesn't end up being to uncomfortable to use.

Not the best conference, but npot the worst Sony ahs ever done. FFvs13? FF15? MGS:R? etc.

After watching all press conferences have to say Nintendo won E3 for me, there show was short and sweet, for the first time in ages they just showed games and only briefly mentioned the casual market with wii party and Just Dance.

No vitality sensor, I expected a section dealing with that with announcements of software, no cammie either(which is a good thing).

It was all about the franchises, (Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong and Kid Icarus) and the 3DS, fell in love with Nintendo all over again. Dissapointed that they didnt show off more 3DS games since they have alot to show but guess we'll see more in the coming months

I honestly don't think they'd show FFXV that early. Give it a few years.

Not a brilliant conference, but far better than Microsoft's. Unfortunately for the first time in years, Nintendo completely stole the show.

The 3DS looks nice. But with little to no gameplay on show so far I still don't know what to make of it. I really want to know how powerful it is. The screenshots look nice but not fantastic. Less powerful than the Gamecube? A lot less maybe? Is it even on par with the PSP? Can't figure it out myself.

Also a little concerned if that slide pad has the functionality of an anologue stick. And this idea of a 'sweet spot' that some people have mentioned when using the 3DS. Apparently if you're not within it strains/hurts your eyes. Sounds... not so great.

An OoT remake would be awesome. The Zelda Wii game looks pretty, but the sword swinging thing ain't that impressive and other than that there's nothing to suggest this will be all that different from previous titles.

Hmm. Everyone has underwhelmed me so far. I guess the 3DS would have been more impressive if we hadn't figured it all out weeks ago.

I've been busy, missed the Sony conference. Might watch it later, though I doubt there's much that would interest me anyway. Any big Sony things I should know about? PSP2 existing yet?

Really good conference though, can't be assed to type it up, just read the news, it's all there! Nintendo blew me away with the amount that was announced.

Sony conference was lame. In the E3 chat, we just talked about the 3DS the whole time. lol

No PSP2. But it'll probably be at next E3, with Sony touting it as the first "Glasses free 3D gaming system."

Nope Ikana, there was nothing important from the Sony conference.

I think sony show more but Big N had more they didnt show so Big N wins all they need to do was show zelda and all 3DS games

Really hyped about all the stuff that was shown at the nintendo conference. I reckon some idiot from microsoft or sony was in the room somehow disrupting the zelda motion control showcase xD
