Kind of agree with Marzy to be honest. Looks like impressive tech, but I don't like the idea of a not having something to hold on to, and all we've seen are Wii-style family games. No one is gonna buy it for that if they already have a Wii. Need to see how it's gonna be used in real games.

Still find it funny how the Natal/Move PR guys are saying the exact same stuff Nintendo's PR guys were saying 4 years ago, as if it's all original.

I guess it is good for bringing new people into the gaming world, like mothers or wives whos husbands/children might already have a 360, but I can't see hardcore gamers buying it unless they can bring out a game which has clever use of it.
I've just thought though...Wouldn't it be cool for a Fable game to use it? Jog around and kill unsuspecting citizens with the flailing of an arm

I think Kinect has the potential to add more depth to big games. Remember the Milo demo? Imagine a game where you control with a pad as normal but can interact with on screen characters by voice etc.

People seem to think you either have to have Kinect or a controller when you can have both.

It'll never replace controllers but can be great if used properly.

So, Microsoft is in 4 hours. What are we expecting?

Well, hope y'all enjoy the Microsoft conference, I'm off to work. T_T I expect to see a nice convenient list of exciting news here for when I get back.

The only thing I want to hear about is Mario Party 9, and the new Zelda game for Wii. I would also like to hear about Rock Band 3 and its release.

only watching it for ps3/360 game cant see Ms have a good one im sure they be one more new Halo ontop of the one they show last year

Dear god. D: That's gotta be the second worst conference I've ever seen, next to Nintendo 08.

That was literally the most boring/crap conference I've ever watched, even worse than Nintendo's the other year and Sony's infamous $599 one.

I had a pad of paper in front of me to write down games I'm interested in buying. The last thing I wrote that I definitely wanted was Fable 3 - that must've been in the first half hour? I wrote down Dance Central, because I like Harmonix, but it's got a big question mark next to it. I also put down Star Wars Kinect, then I crossed it out.

Oh God.

EDIT: The only thing Kinect is useful for is the interface, that looked good. Otherwise...ugh.

Yep, only 1 single new non-natal game announced, Kingdoms.

Other than that, Reach looks fantastic, Gears will be solid, Fable (of course :p) will be solid, but overall a terrible conference.

Agree with Mason. One of the worst conferences I've ever seen. Just as bad the Nintendo 08 one, in my opinion.

I'll second Fable 3. That looked good. Gears of War 3 looked fun. Despite the fact that the worm enemy fetish is just bizarre. Maybe I need to have played the first two to understand?

Everything else was laughable. Nintendo showing off the vitality sensor bad. Really, people were speculating that they were getting all the Kinect stuff out of the way early. But they didn't do that. They threw a party for it yesterday, and let it barf all over their conference today.

The little Asian girl was adorable though. I'd buy that game if I had a young sister.

And the new xbox looks fugly. Hideous honestly. But if it runs quieter and doesn't break at a 30% rate it'll be an improvement.

Oh yeah, and I'm a bit excited for ESPN on the system. That's nifty.

Yeah, I have Kingdoms down with a question mark, mainly because they didn't really show what it was. Gears and Fable looked great. Reach did visually, but I'm not into Halo so I won't be getting it. I'm not a fan of the Kinectised Forza from what I saw. Dance Central was the only Kinect game I think I'd consider buying at this point (aside possibly MGS: Rising; that's using it, right?), and when it comes down to it I don't think I'd bother with that - I'd rather be playing Rock Band 3.

It's bad when you have a conference for an hour and a half and only mention six games that are worthy of interest. Dust, from the pre-conference show, looked better than the vast majority of that stuff. And the biggest applause being for the free Xbox 360s...oh dear.
