I'd say i'm pretty excited about this game, as always some pokemon look better than others, but from what i can gather the gameplay will be just as phenomenal and addictive as the previous

Still, no pokemon looks as awesome as an Omanyte in a top hat, right?

I was playing White Version on DeSmuMe 0.9.6 svn3804 x86, then after beating the elite four and N and Geechiso in the first time (then reseting game), now I can't win EXP neither battling trainers nor wild pokemons. Has anybody had this problem?

In any case it's probably anti-piracy measures, maybe they kick in again after you complete it or something.
Must be a bitch because the post-game trainers are generally 15 levels higher than your team would be.

By the way, I've seen pretty much all the new Pokémon minus a few legies and one or two others, and I have to say I think this is one of the strongest gens design wise.

There are so many extremely original designs, as well as some that are clearly inspired by old Pokemon. There are also just so many, so there's a massive variety. There are tons of great Bug and Dark Types, always lacking before now, and hardly any new water types, thank god.

Ive seen the pokemon for black and white but to be honest some of them are very unimaginitive as theres a gear pokemon but there are some good ones as for the starter pokemon snivy looks cool but i dont like his evoloutions as for the water one his evoulution i love but the pig i dont like but the grass pokemon looks amazing some off the other new pokemon look cool too id like to see some new hms as well

I wonder if anyone else, realizes that the name of the new region is, Unova, which to me reminds me of a small word for the United States of Amirca. XD

Also it's the first region to receive (off topic: but the I before E except after C, rule is a load of crap) an English name, different from the Japanese name. I really can't wait for this game, I want to get the version with wargle.

Also it's funny that I feel that this generation, will not be released, the same time the animation, reaches the next generation, they always released roughly the same time.

No new HMs this time, HM use is very limited, you only need to use one once in the whole game.

UNited states OV America.
I think it was changed so drastically to make it sound more like a western place. Isshu is a very Japanese sounding word, Unova on the other hand sounds like the name of a State, which is appropriate.

I really can't wait for this game, I want to get the version with wargle.

What makes you say that? The current season of the anime is almost finished in the west, I think it's possible they'll just delay it until B/W come out here.

exactly, but if they hold it back, too long don't you think some people might think, it's finished? and get bored, for showing re-runs, but then again it will be good, too like a big surprise. it's hard to say if it will impact the popularity, to hold the anime off, in a negative or positive way.

just preordered black,meant to get white though, because i thought the black one had the black pokemon on it and i just thought a black one would be stronger lol.... but with the generation V games, are there any old pokemon going to be in them? sorry for the noob q

I thought there were areas in the game you could visit after defeating the elite 4 (or equivalent, if there is no elite 4) to catch older pokemon as well?

I dunno, that's probably true too. I haven't really looked into the game that much, just going by what I've heard.

A shiny Raikou is now available over wi-fi on Euro/US and Australian versions of D/P/Pl/HG/SS.

Next monday is a shiny Entei and then a shiny Suicune the week after that.

Transferring just one of them to Black and White will unlock an in game event that will allow you to capture a Zorroark.

I can't wait, I got mine pre-ordered a while back, and will be here, ~March 12. I've been playing pokemon Emerald to be able to get back into the games. -_- it suck my DSi had shocked me twice, so had to send it to Nintendo, will be back by Friday, Or id be playing one of my DS pokemon games.

Also, yesterday they just showed the first two episodes, of Pokemon Black and White. and the Intro is blech compared to previous intros.

Skipping this, was kind of disappointed with Diamond (mainly because network games on DS sucked), will wait for 3DS pokemon seeing as the having better network capabilities from the get go should make these types of games automatically better.

This sucks, the Stones are only purchasable, in Black City.

But also there are only the wild pokemon in Pokemon white, it's like they are forcing people to need to work together to get the pokeDex full, just like Red and Blue.

But Red and Blue were really the most harsh about it because there were No internet connection, and there wont any way to get the others, unless you had a cheating divice or a friend with blue/red or if you yourself had one or the other. and back then Pokemon wasn't has big as it is today.

it always seemed to be easier later generations, there were less and less exclusive pokemon. Then last gen, we had the internet trading.

Also, I don't think, there will be much people, with black that will be generous enough to give someone a fire stone, for a respectful trade, especially over the net.

That's why I compared it to the first Gen.

Being able to send any Pokémon from 4th (and therefore 3rd) Gen up to B/W should make the Dex pretty easy to finish between these two versions alone. In the past fans have had to wait for new releases before being able to complete it.

And, you find a couple of stones throughout the game too, as per usual.

Being able to buy them in Black City is actually more generous than Gens 2 and 3.
