Yeah I want to watch Spirited Away ASAP but I don't have it Smilie... yet Smilie

People, you need to start watching Minami-ke and Kurenai. However thankfully I don't think there is any dubbed versions yet.

Most dubs are awful. It's much easier to find subs so I don't know why you wouldn't.

I actually prefer the Pokmon dub to the sub. Probably nostalgia + James.

Yeah decent dubs are very rare...I liked the Cowboy Bebop dub quite a lot though. And Cromartie High School has an amazing dub. Smilie Everything else I just watch subbed though.

Dude, watch it now!! its awesome.
I would also reccomend Porco Rosso and Castle of Cagliostoro: lupin the third.

It makes it more entertaining to watch by virtue of teh theeeeeeeemes, not in spite of. There's still a balance (Like The Matrix getting too self indulgent and up its own arse), but constant action, especially of not done well, can get just as if not more mind numbing than people consider serious stuff.

Mm, true. I just found the characters and story a bit dull. Like I said, probably just not my kind of thing.

From what I saw of the Ghost in the Shell series there was nothing but talking and action... mind numbingly dull to me. It's also why I find Evangeleon dull, but that might just be the giant mech thing.

Does anyone know if the Kingdom Hearts manga is any good? Or is it even more camp than the game? I don't know how much Mermaid Sora I can take...

Evangelion is not dull, it's just effed up.

Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are by far the best dubs I know of. Generally speaking if is has the guy who does Spike in CB (And Mugen in SC) then it'll probably be pretty good...

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

Today I got the first volunme of Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU. It was in HMV and it was cheap (for an Anime that is... *sigh*) so I picked it up.

I also got some Kingdom Hearts manga ^^ sionce I'm very into KH at the moment. Finding Chain of Memories on GBA will be impossible so I got the manga to fill in the gaps.

Have you seen the first series? I wouldn\'t watch Fumoffu if you haven\'t seen the first FMP series... Smilie

I was told it didn't really matter. Besides FUMOFFU is more of a comedy and I don't really like Mecha animes Smilie

Is it best to watch it in dub or sub?

Twitter | C3 Writer/Moderator | Backloggery

I don't like mecha animes either, but FMP is ace. And Fumoffu does make more sense if you've seen the first series, especially as the characters are explained in the first series, where as fumoffu kind of assumes you already know them. That said, yeah, it is just a side-story comedy, and I guess it won't make TOO much difference. Smilie

I watched it subbed. Subbed is always the safe option. Smilie

I'll end up getting it all anyway probably; I just needed something to grab my attention Smilie

To my dismay, the Kingdom Hearts manga is flipped! I think it was one of the first titles that Tokyopop published (back in 2005) so that's probably why. The Chain of Memories manga is in original right to left formula. Once I noticed that, I figured it might not be Tokyopop trying to sell Disney comics to a western audience afterall.

Yeah well I won't spoil it for people but I know something was up. Plus I sort of know what happens at the end because I accidently saw some spoilers on the internet ages ago. But still I can not wait.

I'm actually going to get some popcorn in for when I watch it.

I am terrible sorry, but i am not a part of anime fan. you see, it has too much sex like b- word or v- word. it is funny though,

Sifu Avenger said: Hey, as long as you know all my shadow attacks! (Laughing) Hero Natliusx said: I once died, I also once was reborn to give all my souls to live. (Clenched his hands)

I just finished watching the final episode, man it's really sad to see the series over.

It's such a good series; everything about it was remarkable.
The characters, artwork, story, music.

I am going to finish the manga now then re watch the series again!

I've got this loading up now also:

http://www.deathnote.tv/58-Death-Note-SPECIAL---Directors-Cut.html

Special Directors Cut not sure what it is yet though.

The last episode leaves you in depression, the voice acting was excellent. Made it very believable.

Edit: I still have to see that Special Directors Cut.

( Edited 06.07.2008 15:04 by L )

I think the Directors Cut is just like a recap over the series, although I can't find the complete episode.

It's supposed to be like 3 hours long.Smilie
