By the way, speaking of Madoka Magica the final Episode's audio commentary confirms that another series of sorts is in the planning stages, the head writer is even working on it.
I'm really not sure what to think, all I can say for now is please don't ruin it.
I also thought it was worth mentioning that Madoka Magica is already considered a "masterpiece/all time great" anime, up there with Evangelion. That said I doubt the franchise or its acclaim will be disappearing any time soon.
EDIT: Also here are some of the changes made to the BluRay release (click for fullsize):
Ooh yay more vivid emotional breakdowns.

Those pictures worry me about getting the Bluray. I was emotional before, and I don't want it to be worse.
Recently ordered and received Eden of the East on blu ray.. don't really know if its good. But I watched the trailer and it seemed okay, only £10 on amazon for the series so.
Anyone have opinions on it?
Also I want to order Bakuman 7, but I might be moving soon so I can't!

PS: And it has Oasis as the theme tune! Gives it an extra star just for that imo!

The lack of people who watched or read Madoka Magica disturbs me
watch it.
I'm now reading an unfinished manga called GE-Good Ending, and I really hope it does have one. It's a harem manga, but with more realistic views on relationships, I actually found myself connecting with the thoughts of the main characters since I've also been through a few of the things that they go through.
As for the usual Shounen Jump, the translations haven't been released yet so I'm waiting to comment on them.
I was wondering if someone can clear this up for me. I just saw a manga called Tsubasa made by Clamp that appears to have characters from Cardcaptor Sakura (same names/character designs) but the plot seems completely different. I've even had a look at the wikipedia page and I still don't really understand what's going on. Are they supposed to be the same characters or not!?
Cheers for any help/explanation!
Clamp are well known to make their characters have cameo appearances throughout their different series. Chobits has action figures from Angelic Layer appearing in them for example (though you have to look for them to see them), and as a certain place within the manga called Duklyon (another of their series).
That doesn't mean the two stories are related to each other in any way.

Practically what Kafei said, I've read the whole of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and it takes place in many alternate dimensions of the CLAMP universe with Shaoran and Sakura being the two main characters and alternate versions of their Cardcaptor Sakura selves., If you read that and xxxHolic you'll understand the full storyline, infact you should read them both at the same time, since xxxHolic takes place both before and after Tsubasa.

Cheers guys, that makes a bit more sense now. Seems like an odd concept to me, but there you go. I may well give it a read at some point.
I've just finished watching The Tatami Galaxy, which was awesome! It's about a guy who goes to Uni. It's about a guys first 2 years at Uni, and each episode plays out an alternative reality of what has gone before. It's only 11 episodes long (~20mins each) and it's a bit arty in terms of style and presentation but I'd thoroughly recommend it.
u guys are bad at anime omfffff
But anyway I've been watching
- Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha
Which is really good and subverts the genre similarly to how Madoka does.. infact it's easy to see Madoka was partly inspired by this series. Unfortunately the third season is really bad so I don't recommend it?! The third season at least definitely watch the first two because they're great and then just pretend you don't know a third season exists.
- Haganai
Fan-servicey slice of life anime about people who suck at making friends which is annoyingly enjoyable considering what it is.
- Ano Natsu
Which I started today it reminds me of Onegai Teacher and the art is pretty.
Also I finished watching Penguindrum since I last posted here and WOW it's really amazing like really
really amazing
It blew my mind on many occasions and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants anything remotely deep since deep animu is rare to say the least.
Also I watched Persona 4 The Animation for about 7 Episodes or so before realising it was really bad and actually making me dislike one of my favourite games ever.
So there's that.

Booooooooo
At least watch this week's episode (when it gets subbed ), it's the King's Game adaptation. Can't wait to see it myself.

All of it is jokes.
Anyway I'll be watching this ep because CHIHIRO.
It's gotten better as the storyline goes on. The way they handled the battle in the Retro Videogame dungeon was interesting, and the past two episodes have had Yu in hyper-helping mode. Plus he's a bit of an asshole in some episodes.
They definitely needed a higher budget for the show, but its still enjoyable enough. ^^

I just feel kind of
like it's being treated without any real care, like an honest to good cash in. I care a lot about the source material so.. weh.
Well in Naruto

Okay, I know I said I'd stop emb-ing these, but I had to make an exception for this one. ^^
Aw yea Burn My Bread.
Also fandom secret, Igor's seiyuu died 2 years ago, all his lines in P4A are archived recordings.

My latest manga purchases :
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku Vol.11
Kimagure Orange Road Vol.1 to Vol.6 (Very happy about the reedition of this classic in French Speaking Countries by Tonkam, the original rights holder had discontinued the publication of the manga, years ago)
I also saw that 6 volumes of the Tales of the Abyss manga were already localized here and were tantalizingly sitting on a shelf in the book store I went to... but I lacked money to buy those on top of the rest that I had selected already.

Yesterday I finished Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai for short) while procrastinating.
It's a nice feel good anime with a lot of really unnecessary fanservice. Sometimes it's nice to have fanservice in moderation but sometimes I'm like WHY. There's this pervert girl in it who's always making really stupid sexual innuendos and omfg can we not please.
But yep the anime is about kids who have no friends, they make a club in order to make friends and they all have kawaii character development together - they do a lot of cliché animu stuff like go to the beach and to go summer festival and despite all this they're like GOD WE HAVE SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER WE HAVE NO FRIENDS (basically they're idiots).
And the last episode was half nice and half extremely anti-climactic so there's that.
I'm going to be keeping up to date with Ano Natsu de Matteru because it's got a really pretty style and animation. And it reminds me of an anime from about a decade ago called Onegai Teacher.. infact it's ridiculously similar in a lot of aspects, I've heard people calling it a reboot and stuff.
It's nice though! It's funny too.
Just slugged my way through endless eight of Haruhi Suzumiya. Not only was it the stupidest concept I've ever come across (they should have just cut it down to say, 4 episodes), but the ending was pretty silly too.
Endless 8 was probably the only part of the Animé I didn't really like too much, the rest, and especially the Movie was quite good and I hope they make another series, just not in a jumbled up order, they should put it in the Book/Manga order.
