Anime/Manga Fan Thread

Just finished up a short series called Eden of the East. There's not much crazy action that many expect from anime, and although the story-line is not the greatest thing since sliced bread, it's still pretty good and the overall concept of the show is fascinating. It makes you wonder what would happen if the contents of the show occurred in real life.

I recommend giving it a watch, seeing as it's not long and is also available on Netflix, for all you lazy individuals such as myself.

Black Cat is awesome. I bought the whole boxset just because of Sven's English Dub.

Really enjoying Gintama at the moment, very happy they continued the series.

In the first chapter of the arc when he bumps into Ichigo, he has one on a chain. I thought he'd stolen it at first, but Ichigo still has his later. Either Ginjo took the chained badge from a previous Substitute Shinigami, or he is one.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. This arc is getting more and more interesting Can't wait for the next chapter, was a good cliff hanger. Kubo just hit everything we thought we knew with a hammer.

I think all three of the big 3 were great this week. Especially Naruto.

As for bleach,

Shits about to go down in One Piece, Luffy has his serious face on, you don't fuck with him when he's like that. I can't wait to see all the crews new abilities

About time we got back into action to be honest. I was getting restless with the dragged out childhood arc.

Tsuki has Ichigo's fullbring, Isshin will turn up (whats the bet that the blade that he was carrying is actually his shinigami powers that he is giving up to pass on?), stab Ichigo with it Rukia first chapter style and gain his powers back? And the other Shinigami must be Rukia, calling it now, the only person that is really comfortable with Kisuke. Also, do you reckon that Isshin/Ichigo's Zanpakuto are similar/same - both use Getsuga Tensho...

Awesome! Rukia now looks a lot like that chick from the current anime arc though strangely.
A few things to be seen from this; Ichigo's new Shinigami form is a combo of his previous one and his fullbring form. Rukia now has a lieutenant badge, probably under Ukitake. And it looks like this Shinigami form happens when Ichigo is still in human form like the Fullbring did, should be interesting. ^^
