Anime/Manga Fan Thread

Anyone hear watched Angel Beats!? it's one of the best animes I've seen in a while.

I like the band in Angel Beats (Girl Dead Monster, I think)! Not a bad anime at all, I'm enjoying it so far.

I like the band too, and it's quite emotional, something you don't get from a lot of series.

I just watched the last one it's very emotional if you're attached to the characters.

Shikamaru dies in the next chapter....

So, I've been watching a whole host of anime's lately, and the best ones are:

Sora no Otoshimono ( very funny )
Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?( incredibly funny and awesome )
MM![Emu! Emu!] ( Yet again, funny )
Kanokon (ended a bit fast, but it's good)
Princess Lover! (you might see a bit of a theme here)
To Love Ru , started off awesome, finished a bit predictably, but still good.

and last but not least: Casshern Sins, I've only watched two episodes so far but it's pretty awesome, and definitely different from the originals (storyline and all).

According to Wikipedia, it was meant to be canon. Not a spin-off to introduce a bizarre Jump manga to anime adaption thingy.

Never been on this thread too much, so I don't know of those have already been mentionned, but I can recommend those two of my favourites.

NHK ni Yokoso ! (Welcome to the NHK !)
Seto no Hanayome (I think the English title is "My bride is a mermaid")

Both aren't too long (the first has 24 episode, the second 26 episodes + 2 OVAs) and they're both hilarious.

Also trying to find some subs of Pani Poni Dash which is even more nonsensical and completely hilarious than the two mentioned above.

Just finished watching a few more different animes, but the best one I've seen which is really unexpected and emotional is School Days.

I love watch Japanese anime show and there are lot of mine favorite anime aired in Japan and as well in US. In my most favorite list of Animes : Bleach , Naruto , one piece and Dragon ball z come in top. I always give first preference to entertain myself with any other those four and today i am getting excited to enjoy today released Bleach episode 325. If you love bleach anime, then don't miss it. As i am sure, it will be totally epic one. As i am sure it will contain biggest war of the ongoing arc of bleach characters.

Everyone that goes on this thread I can't stress enough on a single anime that has turned my life upside down that you all have to watch. It is called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It is a magic girl anime where Japan has an infestation of beings called Witches and a group of girls must band together and stop the invasion. It is not your typical girly anime, it is action packed and has a terrific ending. Just give it a go and then you can say you didn't like it.

I was actually planning on watching it some time, at the moment I'm reading Fairy Tail, Mahou Sensei Negima! Hayate the Combat Butler the big three (Naruto, One Piece and Bleach), and various other mangas that have finished, and I've been watching Gosick, which ends this week.

Oh yeah, people should read Hayate the Combat butler if they like little references to real life video games and anime, it's really funny. Infact

Yup, was really sad! Great story. Much darker than you'd think from the beginning of the series. ^_^

Having just watched the entire series, I have to agree that Homura was my favourite character. I really didn't expect that ending, but then again, the animé was pretty messed up(in a good way) anyway, so the ending suited it perfectly.

Also, the music and parts of the story sort of reminded me about Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, which is an excellent animé and manga if anyone cares to watch/read it, the animé hasn't quite finished yet though.

I'll have to give it a look, i've been mostly watching Brotherhood (waiting for the last 12 dub episodes to release), Gintama, Bleach and Higurashi

Recently finished watch Eden of the East and the first movie, has anyone here seen the second movie cause it's starting to build up

Just watched the last episode of Gosick, it was a good ending, didn't quite expect it though. For anyone that wants to watch it, Gosick is a Mystery Drama set in 1924 in the fictional country of Saubiere, south of France.

Don't know if anyone here still keeps up to date with Bleach, but the latest chapter is finally propelling the story forward after the slow time skip opening

Yeah, Ichigo turned into Spiderman in the last chapter. Phoenixus is reading it as well. The full brings at first to me seemed like alchemy, but now they seem like another manga that I forgot the name of.
