Done reading the NHK manga. I gotta say it took me by surprise after I watched the anime. It's quite different (and I hear the manga was already very different from the original novel it's based on)
I've read all the NHK manga and thought it was great, apparently the Anime follows the Light Novels better though, and I haven't seen that. It also made me notice the NHK world channel.
I'm sort of really into loads of Manga at the moment, with the Haruhi Suzumiya series being my favourite, the first one even comes with the prologue and first chapter of the book. I also watched the Anime in the right order and I can't stand the American VA, so I just watched it in Japanese. I can't wait to read more on the story, and find out Kyon's real name.
I wanted to buy the 10th vol. of Haruhi Suzumiya (that's the latest released in French, I dunno about UK releases) last Saturday when I was at my favourite book shop, but unfortunately they ran out of stock :/. Will have to wait till they restock.
With the manga, we're on Vol. 9 with Vol. 10 coming out in November, in Japan they're up to Vol.14 which probably won't be released here for a few years, but I can wait, I pretty much read the storyline ahead of myself, which I always do even though I shouldn't, and there's plenty more to come thankfully.
I've also been watching The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya, which is hilarious.
After watching so much Gintama and Screenwipe, I just feel bitter towards programs, such as this, which skips on animation in an attempt to be quirky and cut down on work.
This was only meant to be a web show spin off of the series, but I do love Gintama and I sort of see what you mean.
I actually watched that first episode a few weeks ago, and have the rest of the series waiting to be watched my HDD right now :p. I find it hilarious too
I'm glad you enjoy it, I just think that Haruhi is an anime where a lot of humour also comes from the expressions of the characters which I do not feel was depicted well.
I think Kyon is the best character, and he's voiced by the same guy as Gintoki (Tomokazu Sugita), his sarcastic was of narrating the story and telling his thoughts is priceless.
In fox cloak mode naruto doesn't need clones for his rasengans, a couple of chapters back you see how, he creates tiny hands within his cloak to put in the chakra to form them. It's either naruto, or kabuto found jirayas body, or it's the forth, but I can't remember if he was sealed or not cos orichimaru tried to summon him against the third during the chunin exams.

Yeah, I noticed that back in the Naruto v Sasuke fight before the timeskip, except the Kyuubi did it for him, but he has so many variations of Rasengan now.

So does C3 still have anime fans because
My life practically revolves around Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica lately (well since late April) and everyone should watch it really seriously. It's my favourite anime ever and it has a really great fandom too. Plus it's only 12 episodes long so you can watch it in a day.
I've also been watching Nichijou which is possibly the funniest anime I've ever seen, and Fairy Tail which is probably the only long-running anime I really like now. I'd really recommend all of them!
Also dvfkerlkdj;kfs I'm so excited for the Persona 4 anime you have no idea. And the K-On movie.
I also plan on starting Steins;Gate and Mawaru Penguindrum soon.
Livin the anime lyf.
PS. I'm not really much of a manga person, the only manga I keep up to date with is K-On.

Josh, you may or may not like this, but it's Yui so I guess you will.
Plus, have you heard the English Dub of K-on!? I hate it.

And I haven't heard the dub of K-On yet but I always imagined it would be hard to dub. A lot of English VAs try too hard to be "cute" when they should focus on making them sound like normal girls sigh.
Which is why I'm worried about the Madoka dub, but I have faith it'll turn out well because it's a dark anime as opposed to slice of life.
Okay I need some help finding out the name of a certain manga. When I was in camden in London during the summer I went into this comic book shop and found this really interesting manga.
I think it was about a man that gets on a train going home from work, but he gets off the train at the station being a younger version of himself? In like his old hometown..
I just can't remember the title but I really want to check it out! Anyone have any ideas?
Is it this? Haruka na Machi e

I need to finish K-on, and loads of other anime. But I am currently focusing on Fairy Tale. Second best of what I have seen so far next to Madoka. I have such a bad obsession with that anime. I was rather depressed for a few days after one section in an episode. if none of you awesome people on this thread have not seen it, see it. You will not be disappointed.

That's ok, and you can buy both volumes on Amazon, it's called A Distant Neighbourhood in English.

I've seen that dub trailer before but I'd heard the voices didn't sound that bad in context. In any case I never thought it would dub well eh.
I think Nichijou would dub well though omg.
