May have to buy shadow complex when I get my winnings from 1 vs 100...

I think something dodgy is going on with my router. I can't connect to any XBL games. Some funny business, other than that it's working fine. Downloads are fast, etc, Marketplace and that work fine. It's weird. I've got a Gold account, before anyone asks.

Could just be that particular game acting up, I'm not really sure what to suggest other than trying again a bit later (unless it's been like a long term problem)

I got the Shadow Complex demo and played it through just a bit ago. On the first prologue bit I thought "oh great, another brown bloomy army game but instead it's 2D"

However I played the rest and I love it, so I think I'll be getting it soon. I love all the little nods to Metroid, everything about it just seems so familiar. Just gotta get me some more MS Points.

Check your NAT settings a moderate or strict NAT can cause problems.

Mini Ninjas demo on marketplace is pretty good. It's a neat little game.

Not really sure to be honest I just know a strict or moderate setting will cause problems.
If you go into your Xbox network settings and test them it should say if it\'s strict or moderate.

I had to forward the ports on my router to get rid of the moderate setting

The best way to do it is giving your 360 a static IP address so it dosn\'t change.

Then with that address you can either use the DMZ function on your router which basically allows all ports open to that IP adresss or you can open the specific ports the 360 needs in the portforwarding area of the router(you can actually find the port numbers needed in the new help channel on the Xbox dashboard now).
If you only have an xbox just go with the DMZ option as it\'s simpler.

I have the Wii on the DMZ so I have to use the open ports option for the 360.

Probably best just to follow the advice in this video!

Anyone tried the Co-op Lost Planet 2 demo?

I've never played the first game as it looked boring but I really enjoyed this demo. The graphics are really pretty.

You can play with upto 3 other players online (friends or randoms) and have to work together to destroy a huge bug. You can also play offline solo but that's not as fun.

I also enjoyed the Shadow Complex demo but need to get more points.

I bought that Shadow Complex. It seems pretty cool, haven't played it much yet, though.

I thought the Lost Planet 2 demo wasn't anything special.

Lost Planet 2 is like "Monster Hunter 20XX".

Yeah, Shadow Complex is quite a bit of fun. Don't know how much I have left to do though (just got the thing that makes you run fast), waiting to get missiles before I go round to try and get every other item.

Played the lost planet 2 demo with a couple of my mates and it is awesome. I really like grappling on to the machines that you can use, it is really fun.
Graphics are pretty impressive to.

I've read a couple different articles, and it's apparently going to be in 1080p at a constant 60fps. The 1080p will be lovely, but this game was always begging for a smooth frame-rate! It's 4j Studios handling the port again, after their excellent Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie ports.

Any Street Fighter IV owners fancy a few matches? Just borrowed the game off of a friend and I'm not sure how long I'll have it (though I'm rather enjoying it, so I might consider a purchase).

I've never been much of a fighting fanatic - the last fighter I bought/played/loved was Soul Calibur 2 - so I'm not particularly good, and it can all be a bit frustrating at times, but still good fun.

God I miss my 360. I've had such a busy summer I still haven't got round to conning MS into fixing my two red-ringed console for free rather than £80. I don't suppose I'll be using it much at Uni, especially during the first term. But it sure would be nice to get a few games during Christmas.

For those interested, Sonic and Knuckles is being released on XBLA on Wednesday. If you have any of the previous sonic arcade games, you\'ll gain access to the lock on games. This includes the Blue Sphere game if for Sonic 1. I\'m guessing it\'ll be 400 points.

Other than that all I'm gonna get in the near future is Bioshock and Bioshock 2 when it's out. Broke the original about halfway through the game, got to an impossible hack and punched Xbox, disc went kaput Anyone know when Bioshock 2 demo is out?

Chelsea, Barcelona, Chicago Fire, Bayern Munich, Marseille and Juventus I believe. Gonna go with Bayern or Juventus myself for the time being

Not the best place to ask I guess, but regarding HDMI and 360s; only some units have an HDMI port as far as I'm aware (mine doesn't ), so what is the next best thing for those without the port for an HDTV? Is there anything better than the 5-port cable that comes with the console?
