I'm thinking about getting Phantasy Star Online (v2) since you can play it for free in Europe, I can't see any reason why not to.
Anyone have any experience of it?

I wasnt really that much into Phantasy Star online games. I played it once for 10-15 mins and gave up. Perhaps a bit to soon. lol. I wouldnt imagine there being a big community online still though. I mean there will be hardcore fanatics but really i cant imagine there being a massive comunity
There's a fan server (clicky) that is also compatible with the PC versions and will support the others once the official servers are closed, so I imagine it has a fairly healthy community.

NiGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's hoplessly addictive, hard as nails and so colourfull that it makes Sonic's worlds look like a communist-built slums. All for
Anyone with a Saturn (or without) must buy this game, it's heaps better than any of that Sonic claptrap.
If Superlink hear's that.......
So i take it finally came then. How long did it take?
Im having quite good fun with Jet Set Radio and MSR as you can see by my Signature. Only seems that there are only a few Dreamcast fanatics here. Oni Ninja seems to have forgotten the thread as well!
NiGHTS is simply breathtaking. Top of my list of games that muct make it to the DS...
I have to say Jet Set Radio is essential for the DC!
I third that.

My only critisism of it so far is that it would be a lot better in 60fps, but the graphics wouldn't be so beautiful then I suppose.

I saw Sonic Jam the other day in Gamestation for
I just hope they get DreamCast, SEGA MegaDrive & Saturn games for Revo's virtual console... doesn't look so hopeful now...
Saturn and Dreamcast games (especially Dreamcast) aren't practical for the Revo's retro download service. Why? Where would these hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of megabytes of gaming going to be stored? True, you can get a 1GB flash card these days, and not for an arm and a leg.
However, expecting folks to buy a card for each Dreamcast/Saturn game (as only two at the most could realistically fit onto said card) wouldn't work. The Revo's retro application extends as far as the N64, no further. You may see the odd Saturn/PSone game on there, on RARE occasions (little simple ones that never took up much space on the CD they were originally stored on). In general, though, it's just not practical.
Unless, of course, Nintendo employed some drastic compression techniques. Then it could work. However, the games would not neccesserily be perfect ports (compression artifacting commonly reduces graphics/audio quality), and it wouldn't be a simple matter of 'making it work' on Revo, it'd have to be painstakingly converted and compressed. So I don't see this option as a viable one, for cheap downloadable retro games.
Not worth it... Sonic Mega Collection has more games & can be bought for just a little more, if not less (or teh same)
But Sonic Jam isnt on Mega Collection

All true, but in Nintendo's patent application the most notable part was that downloading was not only one method of distribution they were considering, I have suggested many times that it would be perfectly feasable to distribute Dreamcast games on cheap compilation Revolution discs. Not as futuristic as downloading, but probably the only feasable way. Even the 360 with it's HDD couldn't do DC downloads due to reasons stated in the other thread.

Ahh, but all the games featured on Sonic Jam are on Mega Collection. Except a minigame, which they will probably bring out again eventually.
Besides, Sonic Jam COULD go for Revo release, if Saturn gets anything in Virtual Console.
I would of still loved to see the Sonic Jam 3D level in Mega Collection. It always seemed to be good. I also have this thing where i'd rather play Sonic on a Sega Console. If i had a Saturn i'd buy it for the novelty value....
perhaps ive got to much money....still
"SONIC JAM!"
Having too much money + having any desire whatsoever for a Saturn = instant Saturn purchase
Go on, it's worth it just for NiGHTS and they're fantasticaly sturdy little beauties unlike your DC.
EDIT: Bloody hell there are 91 members online!!! Shame hardly anyone is posting.

Seeing that Shenmue ad made me sad
http://games.kikizo.com/features/sega_yu_suzuki_iv_feb06_p1.asp
Yu Suzuki interview, talks about Shenmue on page 3.
Yeah, I've read it. While it's not saying that Shenmue III will never be, it doesn't confirm it in any way, either. He says the story will continue in game form, but also says that Shenmue Online carries on from Shenmue II. Maybe he only means that it's set after it, but the story had better not carry on in that game!
Yeah but it can only point to Shenmue III being at least planned, if the story will carry on in agame but Shenmue Online will be a paralell after Shenmue 2.
Yeah, I guess you're right
Hows about a new Alex the Kidd game
OMG!!! Official Revo Shnmu free bx art peepz!!!eleven!
