Sulk about Sega/Dreamcast/Shenmue topic

Yeah, I'm seriosuly pissed off about that...

I've decided to get a DreamCast, dunno what games to get, I'll try to get Sonic Shuffle, no matter how crap it is, it's a Sonic game.

Ok i have a DC and feel really bad i didn't give it more TLC. I got it for xmas and i bought like 3 games for it *trys to remember that sega football title* but i would love to play shenmue just because of the sheer hype and to see if its truly better than oot. Also, there was this game called powerstone or something, anyone else remember?

Also i saw some one in school browsing Xbox games and stuff on Ebay, i told him to search DC's and he did. I eventually talked him into buying one for

It's certainly playable. I wouldn't recommend it because you can get Mario Party which is far better, but it's worth a shot if you can get hold of it cheap.

I've got Mario Party 4 & 6 already, but I am (or really want/am aiming to be) "Teh utlimate Sonic fan of teh univarse with every Sonic game EVAR"

Then I'll have to buy a 360 to get the new Sonic games I'll miss out on *gets sad again* ...

Also I wanna know if DreamCast is free to get online, if it is I'll hook it up, if I have to pay them I won't. Also if I can get online I'll try to find Bomberman Online (if it was actually released in UK)

To use any internet features on dreamcast you need:

-You have to have Dreamkey v3.0 which is a browser disk which you can in theory get free from Sega, although I just got it off ebay after Sega ignored my emails.
-A dial-up ISP since the BB adapter is rare and probably dated in modem compatibility. If you don't have a dial up ISP you can use 'BT Click' which is about 2p a minute (google it).

Dreamkey 3.o is very dated for web browsing and of course you need a DC keyboard to make it at all practical.
A few DC games can stil be played online though I'm not too knowledgable about that sort of thing.

There is a way around your eBay problems, Superlink. What you do is, talk to someone who does use eBay, and get them to buy it off there for you. You just give them the money. Everyone's a winner

EBAY! Fuck Fuck Fuck, I hate ebay so much, only because I'm not allowed to shop on it at all or ANYTHING, when everyone else I know does, my mum is really scared of being hacked & having all her moeny stolen or sending the money & not getting the item or something, she won't buy anything online at all, & she's even thinking of not letting us download anything off the Revo's virtual console!!

You can play as Cloud in a Square-made fighting game with a silly name which I can't recall but SC did not come out on PS1.

Technically correct, as Soul Edge (or Sould Blade in the UK), the first in the series, did come out on PSone.

So, was Soul Blade/Edge the prequel to Soul Calibur?

Grumblers right Superlink... I know its like lying to her and stuff, but it is your money. I'd encourage you to save for a "rainy day" as well. Not to much because the value of money will become so much less to you.

Right i remember buying those memory cards for the DC with the control pad on them but did they so anything 'special' apart from be a memory card? Like i said i had a DC but im a bit of a n00b because my N64 was used so much more and i didn't really have any game knowledge back in the day

Well, today I got a DreamCast... for about 3 hourse, then I realise the sound didn't work for it, so I took it back, it also came with GTA II

Nah, I'm only just 15 in December, so it won't be for about a year anyways!

& I don't want to lie on a form, because if something goes wrong then they could find out (such as being hacked or sommet) I don't understand these ebay things... so I can't be bothered.
