Funny you'd post that, because I reached that moment in the video almost exactly at the time you posted. Pretty pathetic fall, tbh. Smilie Watching it again, you almost made the same mistake again afterwards lol.

Your grunts when you get hit or fall off never get old, either.

Good games guys (despite the D/C-ing) - Looks like worldwide/public races might be the answer if we were to try MK Wii again - Nintendo reported issues on their servers on Friday, but not sure if this is totally related or not.

I think the friend matches are peer-to-peer, whilst the public ones may go through Nintendo/GameSpot servers? Not 100% sure.

Will try to sync up the videos today - am downloading yours off YT Rudy, so will see what I can do! Will cut down the non-races and just keep it tight!

Did they specify which games were affected on Friday? It was shockingly poor, so it would make sense if there was something more to it. Then again, if friend races were peer-to-peer like we assume, shouldn't they have worked over the worldwide races, assuming that Mario Kart Wii was affected by server problems on Friday? Just doesn't make too much sense. We could give it another try if we have 7-8+ people, otherwise Mario Kart 7 is the better option, as it is better balanced for fewer players. If we do try Mario Kart Wii again and it turns out to be another disaster, we shouldn't mess around for too long (like we have on Friday) and simply jump to Mario Kart 7 immediately.

What i could do Jorge, is send you at least the audio track alone, in mp3 format to save bandwidth, it's not super high quality to begin with anyway, then you can sync it with my own YT video, turn off the volume of the YT video so that there's only the sound of the skype call, perfectly synced with my video feed, and then you can integrate my video feed into yours, as a small window in a corner, and just leave a mix of your own sound from your gameplay (which will be the main cam so-to-speak) and our skype call. How does that sound?

Oh btw Link the reason you got hit by the bob-omb too I think is simply because it hit Lewis dead-on and exploded on impact rather than a few seconds after landing like normal, so you didn't get the time to react and threw yourself right into the edge of the blast radius and lost your triple reds in the process. Would have been glorious if I didn't fall right after, but as it is, it is indeed pretty pathetic haha

Ya if you could mix your skype wav into the video as one file that'd be great, I've downloaded your latest YT one

The syncing is proving to be a pain Smilie I linked it up all initially - so the frames at the start of the first race (3-2-1) lined up perfectly, but because of the internet lag etc, by race 3 (of like 30 or something lol), the syncing goes well off and at times we end up in the same position during parts of the race.

So am having to sync up the 3-2-1 at the start of each race - it's messy, but should work. Blasted internet!

I thought just one sync at the beginning would be fine since we're both recording, but there were times my 3-2-1 happened before yours Smilie

Will upload my audio to google drive when I can. Quite frankly I don't think you need to resync everytime. Just sync it once and for all, because you'll have to resync the audio track as well otherwise.

Am resyncing my footage to yours + skype, as it does become really unwatchable!  Sometimes there's overlap in our footage, sometimes my race starts 3s before yours etc

Not all races are affected though, but the odd desync causes the remaining races to go out - it isn't too bad so far though - have gotten a few GPs done

I'm uploading my audio in mp3 right now to google drive, will send you the link once it's done

Cheers Rudy-san Smilie Some of these GPs are in perfect sync, so I may have jumped the gun a bit - not sure about Friday's footage! Will export and upload some for you guys to check out today Smilie

Just realised that my Wii footage comes out in the Wii U's component resolution, rather than upscaled which is a pain, but still resizable

From what little I watched already Jorge, it looks to be expertly crafted, that's very impressive ^^ !!

Cheers Rudy!

Hmm - watching these on speaker now, not sure about the Skype chat levels actually, might be a bit low - what do ya reckon?

And you can see just how unlucky I am in these races lol - in good ranking for a fair bit, then always screwed over last lap lol.

It seems that even syncing the start of the races still makes a tiny bit of the footage out of sync further in the race, I think it's simply our consoles not being perfectly synced by Nintendo to begin with, cause at certain times, in the second part for example on Luigi Circuit, we're both displayed as being 6th at the same time XD.

The level of the chat seemed fine to me, I could understand everything so far, though your mic during the skype sessions could use being a bit louder JB, which we've been telling you countless times Smilie. It's sometimes hard to hear you, let alone Sue who's farther from mic I guess.

EDIT: Oh and by the way, you put part 3 twice up there. I thought you put them in reverse order at first and arriving at the third from the top I noticed it was the third as well Smilie.

Going to see how this works out - only just heard about this via some videos on YT - well worth a go. THAT amount of levels I would pay good money for. 32 tracks? Child's play. Granted half othese do look like shite lol, but amazing fan effort

Definitely worth it - may do a few video races tonight - some of the fan-made courses are really, really, terrible in design though. Spent 10 minutes in Whomps Fortress because you had to trick jump to make it round to the top.

Lots of N64 ones in there for ya Smilie
