Shopto is still one of the best places to order from although their offer on the 3ds isn't quite as good as amazons offer.
You still get stuff ordered from shopto early though which is nice
Yeah in terms of general games its still one of the best, they've got a 5 min dispatch system too. If its not a 'big' title (say CoD where they get told not to send early) you will generally get the title 2-4 days early
They have been outstripped on price though unfortunately. As the first place to offer it sub £200 when it was announced, it hasn't matched up with its competitors (or perhaps it can't - Amazon/Morrisons/Asda can probably beat shopto.net hands down in terms of economies of scale)
The supermarkets I can understand, they expect people to be buying other bits from them and can easily make up the loss by adding a few pence onto big sellers around the rest of the shop.
My guess would be the other companies managed to negotiate a lower price per unit, either by power or by increasing quantities.

Rayman 3D
Here's the first review guys. It's looking good.

"The 3D effect is impressive because there is rarely something that is close to the camera to provide a great sense of depth. However, this 3D effect adds an extra degree of solidity to the colorful world of Rayman, and you gives an advantage to judge your jumps with depth perception.
In short, the best of three games from Ubisoft launch 3DS, title classic, designed to be played with only one analog stick and four buttons. A winning return. "
Its looking good, but the camera controls just look awkward (Face buttons). I'm hoping it turns out sweet though.
I also just got a message from shop to this morning stating that they can't lower the price (the exact same message as Lrr's). Its frustrating that they don't give a reason though, just a generic message.
Also - CNET review of the 3DS. The thing I hate about the majority of reviews (thankfully C3 didn't do this) is that they give it a score. A handheld is only as good as the software that comes with it, and in that sense can't truly be reviewed until the end of its useful life. Sure the PSP outstrips the DS in downright power, but the DS is much better due to its awesome catalogue of games.
I'm really looking forward to E3 though, my guess is that we'll see the new Mario game which will launch around November (Please make it so!), Mario Kart and Animal Crossing.

Whilst its great to see the game getting good reviews, my problem is that it is just Rayman 2 again. I've played the game so many times on PS1, PS2, DC, PC and DS, I can't justify buying it again. At least not at full price.
If it was Rayman 3, I might be interested

Yea, well it's definitely for those unlike yourself. I've already have the DC version, but I still may pick this up if there's a long wait for the upcoming 3D Mario game.
IGN Gear have a 3DS review
I see Shopto have a few bundles up now, after starting to process payments from the preorders. But it's still more expensive than Amazon, by nearly £20 on the games they're offering. Kind of annoying considering on Friday they said they had no intention of offering bundles.
Everywhere seems to bundling the UbiSoft games with the console

This morning they stated that they weren't offering bundles either. Cheeky buggers waiting for the pre-order payments.
Ubisoft games probably because they are getting it for dirt cheap.
Has anyone tried the black one yet?
Was pretty sure I'd get it, but the blue one actually looks pretty swish in the flesh.
Flip a coin?!
Does anyone know if the 3DS is similar in size to the Phat DS?
I've got a Phat DS case and I don't really wanna buy a new one.
It's considerably smaller, about the same as a DSi but slightly thicker.

3DS is a lot smaller than the Phat DS. It's more similar to the DS Lite but just a little bit chunkier.
Ghost Recon

My mum has an Amazon Prime account, and she should get free first class next delivery on everything, and this can be shared with people in the house. For some reason, I got wasn't getting this.
Just got a call from them, they can't take the charges off as it is getting prepared! Excitement levels rising! I assume they are just packing them up now ready to send out later in the week.
On Saturday the same thing showed on the order, and they just cancelled the charges then. They showed up again earlier
I'll be getting the refund after dispatch.
I quite like the looks of the Ghost Recon game. It's the one I ordered from Amazon for the bundle.

Super Psyched Bros.
I'm looking forward to Samurai Warriors, it will be really nice to sink into that for a while, then may trade it in for Street Fighter.
