Just finished up the first season of Shakugan no Shana, and holy crap!

I don't get to watch a lot of anime (Smilie), but this is one that I wouldn't think of missing. Please, coming from a guy who doesn't really recommend animes to people on this site, WATCH THIS SHOW.

I absolutely love it! Smilie

Shakugan no Shana is pretty cool, I've seen the first 2 seasons, though I wouldn't say it was one of the best things ever. I've not posted here in a while, so I'm gonna throw out some recommendations for things I've seen recently.

ONE PIECE DAMMIT
Durarara!!
Angel Beats
Spice and Wolf
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (Can't be bothered to look it up, think I spelled it right. Smilie )

I've seen nearly 100 series now, and I'm struggling to think of new ones to watch, so would definitely appreciate suggestions. Smilie

Firstly, Digimon Frontiers was bad. Very, very bad. I've decided to leave Digimon as it was, a great memory of childhood. I won't dare try to change that again.

I've heard that Frontier was a bit crappy, but also that Savers and even Xros Wars are pretty damn good.

So they may be worth checking out. I actually got back into Digimon myself last year.

Is anyone watching the new Beyblade series?
Beyblade Metal Fusion
It sounds as generic as every other title but the release has been pretty big over here in the UK. The new toys are amazing Smilie I never did like G Revolution which is the main reason I stopped watching it but my hopes are for this series is to re-ignite that fire it had in the first series.

Seriously, don't mess with the Monkeys...

Secondly, One Piece and Bleach are my favourite -currently running- anime. I like Naruto, I just fall behind every now and again and then spend a weekend catching up in one big zerg.

*High Five*

Bleach is my favourite overall behind Deathnote, but I've recently started getting into the Naruto series as well. Got up to...episode 43 is believe, would read the manga but can't find a good site to view in on my iPod, and my Laptop will probably explode if it is used too excessively.

Might look into One Piece after I get to the current status of Naruto. Smilie

Meh, I never took to Naruto. Personally, I think it's overrated. Bleach is awesome but gets on my nerves with all the fillers so I've just been reading the Manga (which is EPIC!)
I started Baccano! yesterday though I doubt I'll watch all of it. Durarara! was epic.
I think I'm going to go on a Beyblade Marathon with the new one having been released. Smilie That's pretty much it.

Oh and I saw Gurren Lagann posted somewhere so I have to say this. ROW! ROW! FIGHT THE POWAH!

Seriously, don't mess with the Monkeys...

Gurren Lagann is my life.

I don't think I'll ever love an anime that much. Ever.
That is all.

Haha..I know a few other people like that.

Did you watch the movie?? It was really terrible :/
They cut out like half of the series. :C

You should, really. If you were to take my advice though, One Piece starts off a bit slow. After the initial build up and introduction of characters, it really takes off.

Idk I heard it was done pretty damn well all things considered.

But no I haven't seen it, I really want to.

Well yea it was ok but they missed the funniest parts out. Which kinda sucked Smilie

Don't judge an anime by its first episode. If you thought DRRR!! was epic, wait until you see this.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

Started Shakugan no Shana season 2!

I LOVE IT! Smilie

Definitely this. One Piece is EASILY my top favourite series, and I've seen a lot. Smilie Naruto and Bleach have a few epic bits in. One Piece is constant epic. Smilie

I've started watching the bleach anime, I'm on episode 43 so far and it's awesome.

I still need to get into One Piece, I've only seen the first episode which was poop. I just got 500 more episodes left XD. I heard the Manga is really good.

The first 63 episodes are pure gold, then come the fillers, and ridiculously slowed down plot Smilie

Skip episodes 64 - 109 (the Bounds filler arc) and it should stay good? Smilie

I read one piece up to about book 40, and it is really good, but doesn't each battle take a ridiculous amount of time?

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

I watch some anime though not a lot. I watch enough to warrant creation of a list on MAL, under which I use the same username. I'll be completing my 100th show soon!

The truth. I suggest not watching the Zanpakuto arc either. It kinda sucks.

Seriously, don't mess with the Monkeys...

Or just stop watching it after episode 63 altogether. XD

Haha, good solution, however, he'll miss out on the awesome that is Isshin O.o

Seriously, don't mess with the Monkeys...

You could just not watch it at all. That's what I do.

That's a sucky idea :/

Seriously, don't mess with the Monkeys...
